I missed this thread but did comment on the Jack in the box video on your other thread. I loved it so much I have to say it again and again. I can watch that clip over and over. Between Gus's back it up video and your Jack in the box,,, my neighbor whats a Yorkie so badly. She was here while we were watching the video for the 11th or so time. LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!!!!!

Aww, thanks Monica. But I'll have to do a lot better to top Gus' back it up video. That could win on America's Funniest Home Videos.

Alaskayorkie- You need to post videos everyday.

Whenever you post a video, as soon as my husband comes home from work I make him watch them as we are big fans of Jack and Eddie.

Once again...entertained by your videos! I sat here grinning and still am! That jack-in -the-box is sooooo good...and that spinning! Wonder if I could teach Maddie to spin. Maybe I should send her to Alaska and have you teach her. LOL

Yes, yes, SEND HER! Spinning is pretty tricky, though. I may need her for a year or two!

Jack came with the spin. I just had to give a name to it. But Eddie learned it faster than he's learned any trick. Just hold the treat behind her so she follows it around, saying "spin" or whatever. When she completes a circle, give her lots of praise. Eventually, you'll just have to point your hand that direction and she'll spin.

First, welcome to YT! Anyone who thinks my poor-quality vids are good is all right by me!

I'll spare you the longwinded version of events about Jack, but he has been a bit of a YT celebrity for the last couple months. We got him as a rescue and discovered he had some major ligament damage in his back left leg, to the point that he walked on 3 legs. After being nudged in the right direction by StewiesMom and other YTers, I elected to keep him and have the surgery done. It's only been 5 weeks, but so far it's been an amazing success story. He walks twice as well now as he did before the surgery, and the prognosis is for substantially more improvement.

YTers, the sneaks, responded with huge care packages and even a cash donation to help defray the cost of surgery. In fact, he's no longer just our dog. He's YTs. I just feed him and take him for walks. YTers provide all the love. Oh, and FastEddie has promised to come by this summer and clean up all the dog poops after the snow melts.
