| Marlee Hello I have a new baby name Marlee. Im a little concerned because she is now 14 weeks and just 3 pounds barely. I was hoping for a bigger pup. She eats really good however she is just so little it scares me. |

| Welcome to YT and congrats on your new baby. When buying a puppy, weight as an adult is a roll of the dice. Even if you saw the puppy's parents that's not a guarantee your baby will be the size of the parents, no breeder can guarantee the weight a puppy will be as an adult. It's a wait and see game. I saw in a post of yours, you are making your puppies food. Puppies need well balanced food for proper growth, strong bones and muscles. I didn't see where you are adding supplements to your recipe. Supplements are necessary to ensure puppies get the vitamins their bodies require for proper health, growth and nutrition. Did you check with your veterinarian before feeding your baby this recipe. If not, I would definitely do so, sooner than later. A puppy's growth depends on the foods they eat.

| Thanks for letting me know. Marlee has an appointment on this Friday. I will talk to the vet about her diet. I really don’t want to give her commercial dog food as my other yorkie had many allergies for years before I switched her to homemade food but she was 12 pounds. |

| I can understand your reasons for home made food, but homemade still need Supplements to ensure puppies / dogs get the proper nutrients their bodies need. Good luck with your vet appointment. I love your your puppy's name.

| YT pictures have to be 200KB or less. Click on the paperclip above, then click on Browse, select your photo then click on upload. If your photo is to large it will not upload. You will have to resize it. If you don't know how to re-size here is a free link, I use it all the time. It's a very easy program to use. Resize Photos Online - The Free and Easy Way to Shrink Photos and Compress Jpeg Pictures Resize options I use 600 Quality I use 65 We would love to see lil Miss Marlee
