They're heeeeeeeerrrrre! Omigosh! It's been one week since we brought home our 8 week old boys. First chance to post a quick hello to everyone. Soooooooo busy these little guys! After the initial fuss and bustle when Finn and Monty have demanded I get up for a bit of luvvins at 5am, they flop down one atop the other and are out cold - wish I could do that! I'm sooooooo in love with my new babies, and they are certainly keeping me hoppin' haha. We're stumbling along (albeit very carefully), figuring it out as we go. They continuously create their own chew toys and hidey holes in and around furniture, and I am quickly learning how much we missed when we "puppy-proofed" the place. I'm gonna get some pics up soon, I promise - I need to find an easy way to reduce the file size, 'cuz every shot with my cell comes out waaaay too big to upload. Oops, apparently nap time is over LOL. YTalk laterrrrrrrr! |
Lol, congrats, sounds like you're having fun, aren't they just wonderful, sweet lil babies. |
1 Attachment(s) another playtime over, that's me in the lower right corner... |
1 Attachment(s) This was the boys' first night home with us - I'd say they adjusted quickly, wouldn't you? |
The look comfortable and adorable! Congrats! |
Aww That's so sweet :) |
Congrats on the two puppies. And just a quick tip, make sure you spend lots of one on one time with each of them so that they'll both develop a strong bond with you. I think many dogs who are with each other all the time, especially from puppyhood on, can sometimes bond closer with each other than with their owner. And again congrats on the puppies. How exciting! |

Extra Cute! |
What adorable boys! I would like to adopt littermate one day... So cute! :) |
2 Attachment(s) I can't believe it's only been a little over a month... these little terrors (ahem, terriers) are such a handful! Monty is always up close and personal, while Finn is the daredevil. Poor Finn didn't realize he's not quite ready for an almost 3-foot leap from lap to concrete. Broke 2 tiny toes! After nearly two weeks of bedtime separation (doctor's orders), they're still not pleased and sleep nose to nose thru the netting of the pen. Everyone and everything are chew toys, getting better very slowly  Potty training is continually frustrating, but I'm seeing some light at the end of that tunnel - 30 degree weather just isn't conducive to pleasant outdoor potty time, nor are sweaters or jackets, even harnesses. Snow is fun, but until Finn's splint comes off that isn't happenin' - tomorrow is the first day of Spring! Looking forward to puppies frolicking (and pooping) outside in warm weather! I work at home, so that makes it a bit easier, I suppose, but I've been so covered up with work I feel I'm not giving the boys enough attention. Getting the hang of it, though - I'm in training too after all! |
Terrors are right, guess Finn learned he can't fly, and you learned to watch them more carefully, these lil terrors are fast. It will be nice to get them out in the yard. Have they had ALL their vaccines? if not they shouldn't be out doors until ALL vaccines have been gotten. There are critters such as squirrels, chipmunks, moles etc, that carry disease that could harm these puppies. Have fun lol. |
Thanks! Thank you for posting so many cute pictures and sharing your parenting adventures! I don't think I could handle "twins"! LOL. I live in Northern Virginia, and spring is definitely in the air! You will definitely be more inspired now to enjoy time outside with your boys! |
Super duper cute! I can't imagine training two puppies at the same time! haha.. they must be a handful! Thanks for sharing your update & recent photos with us. :) |
