The night before I got Cookie I was just too excited to sleep a wink. I stayed up all night watching Dexter's Ruff Life videos on youtube, I think I watched the entire series. And I instantly fell in love with Cookie the first time I saw her in person inside her crate. Best believe I slept really well after 10PM when I put Cookie in her crate for the night after a long day of play (though she cried a lot that first night, she really did not want to sleep in her crate). |

2 Attachment(s) Here's my baby! He's almost 9 weeks old! I get him at 12 :D |
He is adorable! Deb's pups are great, I'm so excited for you to be getting your baby in 3 weeks. |
I agree with you such a bright idea:) |
1 Attachment(s) Hey all, here's another shot of Whimsy. He's going to be 10 weeks soon (born 4/25). My little guy is turning out to be on the chubby side (2.9 lbs at 10 wks), but Deb took him to the vet and he said that Whimsy was perfectly healthy. According to some size charts, Whimsy is projected to have an adult weight of 7-8 lbs (although Deb thinks he'll be 5-6 lbs). I was wondering if anyone knows of any health problems that comes along with a Yorkie have some extra weight. For example, will my baby be prone to having more heart conditions than a smaller yorkie? Will he have bad knees? If so, what do you recommend to prevent those health problems from manifesting? Deb assures me that he is a strong and sturdy boy (which I so appreciate!). I just want to make sure my dog will have a long and healthy life. |
