Bentley is home and after rambling around the house while I ate real quick I got him to lay down where he likes to be. In my bed on a purple fuzzy throw. He peed right away when we got home so that's good. He worried me a little because he started to shiver once he really settled down. I ran and grabbed the neutracal just to be safe. He's never had sugar issues, but I know he's been under great stress today. I then covered him up and he gave me the stink eye like get that thing off me. I'll give him a little neutracal once an hour until I go to bed tonight. From what I've red shivering seems to be common with pain and I'm sure the little guy is hurting. Vet said he did great. And what a well behaved little guy he was. Every time we see the vet she gushes over him she just loves him. The girl up front said he was really entertained by all the dogs today so I'm guessing it was a rough day for him but not as traumatic and I thought it would be fore him. NO STITCHES!!!! He's glued, thank god so I don't have to worry about him pulling his stitches out. I just hope the glue is not saliva soluble or else he will have his tongue stuck to his butt. Gonna go throw on my jammies and snuggle with my brave little man. |
Just reading your post... that picture is so very sweet. I am glad all went well, give him a hug and kiss from me too |
Happy to hear all went well, hope you both get a good nights rest...and a better day tomorrow! |
Thanks, Bentley slept great. Me not so much. I kept walking up every hour or so to check on him to make sure he was doing fine. He ate a great breakfast, played with some toys for a bit and even moved some sneakers around. I can tell he's still a little sore, but he's doing great. |
Checking back to see how he's doing, so glad to find he's home and doing so well. He lucky to have such a good mommy. Hope he heals fast. |
It's only a matter of healing time now...may the healing begin. |
