First and ? Last Christmas 1 Attachment(s) A special Christmas photo of my sweet 19 1/2 year old cat with my little Shelby (8.5 months). It's the first time I let them get this close but I wanted one photo of my two precious babies together. |
So cute... Wow 17 1/2 years, I had my sweet black kitty Kusha for 21 years, so you could have a few more years with your sweet kitty. Desiree :) |
WOWSERS! That's a lot of years! Very sweet picture! :p |

1 Attachment(s) wow Tigger looks in great shape for his age. I did a painting of them for you. Hope you like it. |
What a sweet photo! You are so lucky to have a cat with such a long life! Merry Christmas! :) |
Great picture, Wow 19 1/2 yrs old, thats amazing!! Have a Merry Christmas! |
amazing - your little cat looks VERY young for being almost 20 years old and that's such a special picture - They're both too cute |
Wow- your cat looks great for being 19 1/2! Perhaps now that they've been around each other a bit, they'll become great companions for each other. Olivia loves my cat. (Well, loves to play with him- they wrestle and chase each other all day, but he's a kitten) What a beautiful keep-sake photo that is. |
Wow.. 19.5 years! And 21 for kittendes... that is great. I had to put my baby of 16 years down summer before last,, so hard.. I totally get what ya mean about them being that close and Great that you got a picture of them together, I would never have time... Mine are together for about 10 seconds and it ON! |
WOW :) your cat doesnt look too thrilled haha. Congrats... :) |
Awww...that is too sweet! They are both so cute! |
wow 19,,,,,, doesn't look that old at all. Beautiful picture of them both. How have you keeped them seperated thus far. Is it the cat that don't like the dog or the other way around? Gus just loves tormenting my dads cats but I have to keep an close eye on those cats,,, usually they will run and hide when Gus comes around them but I know they would like to get ahold of them when nobody's looking. The big one is about 3x bigger then Gus and is a mean one! I'm even a bit scared of fatty watty Willie |
That is a beautiful picture of the two of them together. It is so good that it would be a wonderful picture to have enlarged and framed. What a nice keepsake. :) |
CUTE! I am glad you got the shot! :) |
Thank you everyone for your thoughtful responses and a special thank you to Yorkieshadow. The painting got me all weepy. Yes, my Tigger is still beautiful for an old man but he isn't doing too great. He has kidney disease and I have been giving him fluids every other day for 1 1/2 years. He also has thyroid problems and arthritus. He still eats and potties and I do what it takes to keep him comfortable. His favorite place is on his pillow on a heating pad in his garage. He likes to come in occasionally and sit in the sun on the staircase which is how I got the photo. I haven't let them get close b/c Shelby just recently stopped barking at him when he comes in. I don't want to upset him with her antics and I don't want to risk him taking a swat at her. I keep a lot of my house gated off so they both can be safe but like I said, I took a chance and got them together for a photo. It means a lot to me that you all understood how cherished this photo is. Thanks again. |
