Our holiday card 1 Attachment(s) The boys were groomed today so I took the opportunity to take them into my photo studio and create our Christmas card. Happy Holidays to all! |

If you get creative, you can do the same thing at home! Even though I had the benefit of studio lights, you can do this with your point and shoot too. I used a wicker bench I have and covered it with "snow" and placed two silk poinsettias on the rear of the bench and two on the floor. I used three small fake trees from Michael's for the sides. Get in close and fill your frame and take the photo! If you have clutter in the background, find a plain white sheet (or red or black or green) and put it up behind the setup to hide the clutter. I use these items when I photograph children. Think small and get eye level when you take the photo. Carter is now 17 1/2 months, Cooper is almost 10 months and Crissy is now 16 weeks old. Keep trying! It is really a two-people task. One to snap the photo and one to attack the pup's attention and put them back in place if they get up. Get the attention person behind you and slightly over your head if possible so that the pup is looking in your direction. Sometimes it helps if you have about 3 pair of arms! ;) |

I absolutely LOVE puppies. Crissy has a special place in my heart right now since she is so little and we're going through teething, potty training, obedience training, etc. She is so active and gives the boys a run for their money! The middle child, Cooper (Mr. Gray on his head for now), has become very loving since he was neutered. He is being re-potty trained while I'm training Crissy. Its helping to reduce his marking in the house. Carter is my sweet, sweet boy. He is obedient and smart. He knows people by their names and he knows which room I'm telling him to go into. He loves to go for a ride and is heartbroken if I leave home without him. I'm so glad I was able to capture a good photo of them together. |
Great Card What a beautiful picture. I am waiting for Starsky's red vest to come in so I can take his. He did see Santa at Petsmart. He is such a wiggle worm. I hope I can get him to sit still like your little ones. Thanks for sharing such a warm and wonderful picture. Merry Christmas to you too! |
