LOL! Well, it works out well for you taking pictures! She is too cute! I applaud you for even being able to get all of the boots on her! |
2 Attachment(s) I also tried the boots but only managed to get the front ones to stay on and lottie was not happy as you can see I think we will just have to stick with the sweaters for now. |
Yay! Now chloe is walking in the shoes and she is doing so good! |
How long did you keep the on for at a time? |
very cute! did you make the sweater? |
She's so cute in her boots. I have always thought they needed some kind of an outfit with built-in boots, because mine always jumped right into the snow drifts! |
the sweaters? did you make them? they look darling on. I don't know about the dukes of hazard but nancy sanatra comes to my mind. that was funny. mine look like the NYC high kickers. (what are the called? can't remember) |
I knit the sweaters for Alfie and Lottie I have made quite a few now as they are so easy to make and i just add things or change the type of wool to change he sweater. Thanks for all the compliments now shanatink how did you get her to keep those boots on and walk! |
That picture is priceless, she is so cute.... |
:) I dont knit the sweaters but I sell them on my website. AS for the boots, yes chloe has worn shoes before but only for photos/modeling. The situation with dog shoes is yes they never like them at first but you are supposed to get them used to wearing them. I just never got around to this yet until today with chloe. Once I put those boots on her I left them on her for a few hours and after awhile she got really good at walking in them. I encouraged her to walk towards me using treats. I dont think she minds them now. My chihuahua still hates shoes and we have tried several times with her. She prances all funny in them. I wouldnt recommend leaving shoes on a dog unsupervised. Im so excited though because chloe did really well and my back yard is covered in ice- so just in time! |
