Comming home soon! 4 Attachment(s) Hello everyone! I stumbled across this board whele doing some potty training homework. Looks like a nice place! I get the feeling I will be spending alot of time here! I live in the San Francisco area in California. I am flying out to pick my lil girl up from a breeder in Pittsburg, Kansas on Jan 10th! I really can't wait! I have not decided on a name for her just yet.. I could use a bit of help in that department.... She has an entire wardrobe waiting for her when she arrives, I have picked up even more since I took the pictures... I am out of control! Here are a couple of pictures of her taken by the breeder and some of her new stuff! |

I picked up all of that stuff at Target! And the prices were very reasonable, infact most of it was 25% off of already crazy low prices! The sweater was 9.99 and the jacket 14.99, the boots, 9.99! I was so excited to find all of it! And it is all XS. They had a ton of XS in stock out here. I am going to return the purse carry thingy, as it has some unsafe ratings at target.com I read that they can jump out and choke! I am not taking any chances... It is going right back! Maybe I will get anouther couple of outfits for her! lol Ohhh such fun! :p |
Congratulations on your upcoming adoption. She sounds like she has a Mom who is anxiously awaiting her arrival. She is so precious and have fun naming her. :p |

She is a doll, I know what you mean about going crazy with buying stuff for your baby, i have had bella for just over two months and i think i have spent well over 500 on clothes and treats and it's so fun. Welcome you have come to a great place, everyone is so down to eath and so very friendly. I am Angie mommy to bella we live in Maniotba Canada and let me tell you i wish i was in a hot place right about now, i serouly can't stand the cold anymore. I want to be able to put my christmas lites and decorations up with out haveing to wear gloves, a scaf, a winter jacket, snow boots and carry a shovel so i can make a path so i dont get lost LOL ( kiddding about the lost part). So welcome again and have fun. looking forward to seeing more of you baby |

She looks like an Abigail (could call her Abby for short). Our yorkie should be ready to come home by Valentines Day. And I picked out the name Chloe. Chloe Cheyenne. I always pick out a first and a middle name for my dog. You must be very excited. I am sooo excited that I want a stork in the front yard when Chloe comes home. And the stork will be pink and say Its a Girl! |

I'm doing the same thing! Mine's due home next week and I've got toys, clothes, fuzzy men in two sizes, ropes, treats, carrier, kennel - all for her because I have one Yorkie that has her own stuff. I'm trying to clean out a drawer right now for room for their stuff! Isn't it fun? She's adorable - I know you are going to love being mommy to a Yorkie. They are incredible little dogs. |

Pippa (english name means loves horses) Mika (means wise and pious) Gi-Gi (small and spunky) Pita (peeta means comforting) Prima (means First) We bought a baby names book tonight with over 50,000 names in it! This is just what I have found so far.... I like Gi-Gi and Pippa. I'll post if I find more! I would love feedback! Its so hard!!!!! Here are more pics. |

ahhh naming them is sometime difficult. i have picked several names and they didn't look like the name i picked so we were back to square one. one will come to you the minute you see her. congrats on getting your baby and welcome to YT. looks like you are going to have a spoiled one too. :thumbup: |

You know it huh? Did I do good? I am flying all the way from California to get her. Pam was so nice on the phone and I liked the look of the dam and sire, I really did a ton of searching before I found them... The kennel is USDA Lic and Akc reg, I figured that short of visiting them first, which would require a second trip out there, I was ok with everything I knew up to that point. Tell me what you can about them! I would love to know more. It looks like she has a large scale kennel going. But everyone looked well kept. Do you know the owners personally? I wish I could have visited first, but its so far away! |

I don't know them personally. Pittsburg is the next town from me. I've been by the kennel and have looked at their website. All that I can tell you is what I've heard and that is they have a good reputation. I've never stopped and visited. Always in a rush. I take things out to the humane society and I go by there on my way. I wish you luck. She really is pretty! :p |
I pulled up a map and it looks liek things are pretty spread out out there. I am glad to hear that they have a good rep. It is so hard when your this far away! I found this board after I found her, I wish I had found this first! Not to say that I second guess getting my girl ata ll, but it would have been nice to chat with you al first! lol I think I will start marking the calander.... only a month to go! She will be 4 months old when she comes home... Wow |
Yeah. It's spread out here! A town here and another town 25 miles down the road. No congestion and no smog! :D Do you know where you're flying into yet? Were they going to meet you at the airport? I hope so. The weather here in January can be brutal! :D |
