| I am flying into MCI in Kansas City. It will be a bear of a trip I will leave at 12:30am and I get home at 5pm that evening! And yes! She will be meeting me at the airport, can you just imagian me renting a car and trying to make my way out to Pittsburg? I would be lost, cold and I'd miss my flight home! lol Plus it would add like 7 hours to my trip! The gal I am buying her from is really is going out of her way to help me out! its a long drive for her. But its best for her to ride with me in the main cabin then to be shipped and be a pupcicle down in cargo, there is a change of planes which means time on the tarmac out in the cold. If it was spring, maybe, but not in January. Sh normally ships out of TUL I think. Its a shorter drive I beleive, but the ticket cost me less into MCI. I am kind of excited about making the trip! It will be a blast! I'll have my pillow, my eye cover, my blanket and a vallium. lol The must haves of any long distance flyer! : )

| I'm glad. I expected they would meet you at the airport, but I wasn't sure. KCI is 120 miles from here, so add another approx 26 miles and it would be about 150 miles for her to drive! Hopefully she won't cry all the way home for you! I just couldn't have one flown in cargo. My heart is just that way. You'll be so tired when you get home, but at least you'll be happy!

| I pray that I am able to sleep on the way out there! And yes, I sure hope she does not cry on the way back! But my worst fear is a poop on the way back! lol I have had dreams where the whole plane is gaging. lol I picked up a crate for her last night! I figured that I can use the flight crate, a veri kennel the plastic kind, for upstairs in the bedroom at night and the black percision for downstairs in the X-pen. as far as X-pens go... is 24 inches good? hubby wants to do 18inches, thats how tall her crate is. she is expected to be between 3 and 4 pounds. But if by chance she hits 5, is 18 enough?? is 24 even enough? What do you all use?

| Ha! If she does poop, I doubt if anyone would even know it. It would be so small. As far as the ex-pen is concerned, I had one set up just in case I needed to put mine in it while I was busy. I never used it. In fact, I have never used one before, either. There is always someone home, so it serves little purpose for us. We just limit the area. She's house trained now. In fact, she's 8 months old today! But we still limit the area. Don't want to ruin a good thing.I'll let someone else answer you on the ex-pen. Some of them are little climbers! So, IMO which isn't worth much, I'd probably say to use the higher one. You might want to post your question in the training section. I know some people here have had them climb out of the ex-pens and over baby gates, too. In fact, someone had a video on here one day of one of there babies climbing over a baby gate!
