We've decided we're just not sure how old Bailey is anymore. Best guess is he'll be 9 months old next week. Who knows???

But he's the best boy in the whole wild world! :D

Did you adopt him? Is that why you dont know how old he is?

Yes, we adopted him on October 21st. The lady said he was 6 months old. The vet said he was more like 7 to 8 months old. So, I'm going to say he'll be 9 months old next Monday. Just a guess.

The vet should be able to tell by his teeth. I would guess you are probably right with around 9 months.

Vets can usually tell pretty well by looking at their teeth. But when you are talking about just a difference of a couple of months, I'd probably just believe whoever you got him from. The difference between a 7 month old and a 8 month old is VERY difficult to discern just by looking. Pups do mature at different rates and can look different. I have seen pups from the same litter look much further apart than a few minutes or hours!

hehe gotta love the ear hairs! I'd say you are about right @ 9 months. He definitely looks like he is a little older than 7 months. But Bailey is definitely a cutie!:D

Thank you all for the nice compliments. Natalie and I are so fortunate to have adopted Bailey. He's been through a lot getting him back to health, but he seems happy and well adjusted to the family. We're letting his hair/fur grow back around his face where the previous owners shaved him. He must have been matted terribly for them to just lop off chunks like they did. But, it will grow back in time.
