| Very true! So lets hope the op can learn and flourish from being a member here and the next time she is looking for a new puppy she will know to purchase from a reputable breeder. The op can also pass on her knowledge from YT to friends and family, that is how we stop BYB's & Puppymills, through education!

| As you stated you are here to talk about yorkies......why are you still posting in this thread? There is a birthday yorkie in the general discussion, maybe you can go wish him a happy birthday?

I agree that "Mutt" is only a word but words have power behind them. Its all in the way you use the word. I feel that the word was used as an attack and was a little disrespectful this is after all a welcome thread. If you don't like the mix breed dogs well just say welcome and move on. I am sure that you can find something nice to say, we do it everyday , for example how many times have you seen an ugly baby and you are trying find something nice to say to the new mom, do you say wow that's the ugliest kid I have ever seen ,or do you say aww she has pretty eyes or something like that. | |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | HoneyB - your baby is absolutely adorable! What a face, you must be so in love. WELCOME to YT, I look forward to learning more about you and Honey. I hope you find YT to be a supportive and educational community. It's a great place to learn about how to care for a new puppy, and about Yorkies/yorkie-issues/animal-issues in general.
