I just don't think I can groom my babies myself. I do bathe them in between the grooming, but I don't know about taking the scissors and clippers to them. Y'll are a brave bunch!!!:)

I think your pup looks a lot like my Isla! They both are dark, cottony, have dark muzzles and floppy ears! Super cute!!!!! Great job grooming!

OH MY GOD!!!! Isla is Kaji's twin! I showed the pic to my roomie and she said, "Is that when Kaji had his long hair when you first got him?" She couldn't tell it wasnt him! I wish I could get a picture of both of them together. How old is Isla?

I really thought so, too! I just didn't want to say 'twin' in case you didn't agree.:rolleyes: When I first opened Kaji's picture I really thought he looked just like Isla, and when I got to the last one, I thought, "I HAVE that picture of him in girl form!" That's crazy! I would love a picture together...mind driving to North Dakota? It was 75 degrees here today. ;)

Isla was 1 on June 23rd. Right now she doesn't look like that picture cause now that all the leaves are on the ground her coat got really matted and I had to bring her in for a puppy cut. But her hair two days ago looked just like Kaji. Seriously...the resemblence is amazing!

Me mind driving???? I consider driving my hobby. I wish I could! Kaji is only a little bit younger. His first birthday was August 1st. How eerie! But in a good way. Maybe one day I'll be crazy enough to drive over there. :D

Good job! your baby us so cute. I bit the bullet and bought clippers and me and my mom are going to try grooming ours too. I am a little worried, but it's just hair and it will grow back!!LOL

What kind of clippers did you use by the way. I want to do my yorkie at home till she gets bigger and it realy starts to grow out.

I actually only use clippers on his body. For his face I used scissors and went really slowly. I made him look horrible last time and had to have my roommate clean him up. She's been grooming her pom for years. Technically, I wasn't finished cutting his hair when I took those pictures. I did his face then and yesterday I cut his body hair with the clippers. I like it nice and short.

Don't tell Uni, but Kaji just needed a haircut. I don't like it when his hair is long.

Thank you! I actually am in the process of growing her top out again. We had to cut it in the first place cause it got all tangled at the lake this summer. But I miss her bow (even if it's a pain and falls out everyday;)) and we'll see how her new look turns out. It sure takes a while!

Great job!! I groom my 3 since it is too expensive to have it done professionally, but I don't think I could do a short cut. What a cutie.
