Puddin' Pics! 2 Attachment(s) Not very many, I'm afraid, as my camera batteries chose today to die!:( But here are a few I got on her first day at home. There are pics and a write up about her on my blog at A View from the Other Side |
She is a little doll!!!!! How old is she and what is her size? I want to kiss that little face. :) |
awww she is just PRECIOUS!! That little face is the cutest! :D What a doll baby. |
Cant wait to meet the little one, she and Bella are going to become great buddies :) |
She is six weeks (I know...but this is South Africa and things are done differently here...and at least I am an experienced dog mama). I don't know her size, but I am taking her to the vet on Monday to get her weighed and measured so we have a baseline to work from. She is eating and drinking well, has used the puddle pad several times, is sleeping and playing, and the Maltese have both met her now. Candy is afraid of her!! And Nash, the little old man, wants to lick her all over! Will get more camera batteries tonight, hopefully, and more pics will soon follow. |
Six weeks is so young - but that's the way we used to do it here in the States, too. You have other, older dogs who will probably try to teach her how to be a "dog". She is so precious, such a tiny little bundle. And she looks so sweet in her little crocheted receiving blanket :). From one Puddin' mommy to another, I hope you have many long and healthy years with your little Puddin' Pie :D |
Sooooooooo cute:) |

Thanks for the compliment on the bed...I thought it came out rather nicely. I also made pads and a cover for her crate from the same fabric. My husband rolled his eyes the whole time I was sewing and crocheting, but now that Puddin is here and the stuff is turning out to be useful, he's stopped.;) |

Puddin is adorable! |
congratulations! I really like the bed :) |
She is so sweet!!!!! :animal-pa |
Aw, aw, aw!!! soooo cute. I have 2 with a dock tail and 1 without. We call her taily girl. Love it, love it, love it. CONGRATULATIONS on your little girl. She is a sweetie pie :yelrotflm:yelrotflm:congrats::cheer::congrats: :yelrotflm:yelrotflm:cheer: |
She really is sweet. And she settled in well, considering how little she is and how strange everything here must seem to her. We kept her up until 10:30 last night to tire her out, she slept until 3:30, then woke up all alone in a strange, dark place and we heard her first cry...heartbreaking! But after a potty break, a drink and a few bites, she dozed off again. She loves her fuzzy stuffed dog, and her Puppy Kong, but so far her favourite toy is fingers! |
She is so cute and tiny!!! I love the bed, very princess like. |
just precious! |

What is funny is that we went to the pet store yesterday to get her a harness and she was in the basket Since the South African sun is very intense, I put her crocheted blanket over the top of the basket for the walk through the parking lot. When we got into the store, which was busy, a few people looked at the basket and looked away. One little girl, however came over and asked to see. I pulled back the crocheted blanket and she cooed over Puddin a bit, then asked me what kind of dog she was. The minute I said "Yorkie," everybody in the store rushed over!! The manager said she thought I had a human baby in the basket and was in no hurry to take a look, but the minute she realized it was a Yorkie puppy, she couldn't get there fast enough! Hubby and I got a good laugh over that one! Do Yorkies draw that kind of attention all the time?? |
