The girl HATES clothes! I tried to get her to wear a sweater because she gets cold so easily. She can't stand that thing. As soon as I put it on her, she whines and PLAYS DEAD! Seriously! She won't open her eyes until I take it off!!! Then I set her on the floor to stand up, she just fell over like a stiff sausage! hahaha, the girl is nuts!

When I first put a shirt on Piper she kept walking backwards. I think she thought she could just back out of the shirt. She wears shirts and sweaters now but she really isn't fond of them. She is an escape artist and knows how to get out of most clothes.

That is too funny. I've tried to put clothes on Piper, and he stands there like a statue until I take it off.

I just tried to put a bow in her hair for the first time. She kept banging her head on the floor and pushing her head against the carpet trying to get it off. I guess it's gonna be au natural for my girlie!

I have one that won't walk depending on what it is I have on him but never have I seen/heard of one playing dead. Oh my goodness, this is just too funny! I laughed outloud at this one! You have a real gem! :D

Aren't they a hoot! We put jammies on Yogi for the first time in Dec and he walked around the rest of the night on just his front feet! :eek: It was hysterical watching him walk around with his little bum in the air!!! We decided he was practicing for when he runs away from home to join the circus. :D

that is soo cute and funny. charlie doesn't like to wear clothes either. I put his shirt on him last night. He kept turning in circles trying to take it off.

I could not imagine the play dead routine! My first yorkie hated his clothes for a long time, but I eventually trained him to accept his cold weather shirt. At first he would not budge in his shirt, just stood there with the brakes on and you had to drag him, but eventually he consented to walking around in it.

I just bought my two little guys fleece jackets last week, and they took to them right away (I was so lucky as I bought them in Ann Arbor MI and live in Virginia, and I am the kind of guy who is too lazy to return anything). I can't say they are too crazy about me getting them into their jackets (and these are really well made so only their front legs go in holes with the rest done via zipper and snaps), but once they are in, its off to the races in the COLD winter here - 20's to 30's. I thinks its less frightening to them since the collar has snaps so you dont need to pull the jacket over their heads.:thumbup:
