Thanks! I'll look into it.. Right now I just have several different brushes that I bought from petsmart and petco. A metal comb, one that is double sided :one side has the pin brush and the other side is like a soft bristle brush type of thing, and then one i bought a few days ago ( that he hates the most..i think it might hurt his skin a little bit so i don't use it. ) but its got pins ( without the little balls and short bristles surrounding the pins... I've brushed him several times a day since i got him at 16 weeks.,. but he still doesnt seem any closer to liking the brush :(

maybe some of the brushes and combs you have are hurting him...i dunno what to tell you...hehe...but i know all my mine falls alseep now when i brush them...hehe...

hope someone can help you out!

Lucky! Lol, and thanks. maybe I need to find a brush that he likes.. but his coat is a little dry, especially around the butt area... so I'm probably not using the right shampoo( once again pet store brand) .. I think i will have to have a beauty product shopping spree for my little luc and order some actual quality products from the internet.. any sites you can reccomend would be great!!! (sorry to be such a pain ..and for kind of taking over this thread..eeeps!):eek:

hehe i sometimes use Pantene Pro V conditioner on the my furbabies...but not to often for it could dry them out since it isn't design for dogs...

You can try some Cowboy Magic detangler or Mane & Tail (sold at walmart) - just do a search in this forum for these names and your can read thru some old threads..hehe

Furbabies are not just an "animal" to be bred and kept out of reach with people, they are a family members, they are companions, they are such positive and loving spirits that the Good Lord gave to use to teach us how to treat one another...... and everyone here loves their babies like a family member. Just because one kid has green eyes and the other has brown does not mean they are not worthy.

All I can say is I LOVE-LOVE-LOVE my little expensive mutt, Morkie, (and my Yorkie too) and am so glad that many people on this forum welcome Morkie owners as fellow dog lovers.

Thanks, your Alfie is adorable too. They are all so cute I go nuts looking at pictures. I seem to discover more Morkies every day on YT, sometimes I wish they were all listed in a separate section.

Curious about Morkies?
 
My little Morkie "Gucci" is 16 weeks. I went through an almost heart attack because he was losing his hair. I've searched the internet to see if it's normal for puppies to lose their baby hair and couldn't find a definite answer. After changing his food to "Life's Abundance" 3 weeks ago, his hair started coming in . Now, he's not fluffy as all the Morkies I've seen on this thread, but appears to be filling out and picking up more of the Yorkie coloring. I'm hoping his little legs will fill out. He looks so "delicate"!

Aww! do you have any pictures of your fur baby. ..They are all so cute!!! I agree on the section thing, I love looking at other mixed babies, like mine. :)

I think you got the best of both breeds! I really can not think of a more beautiful doggie than a Yorkie or Maltese :) He's a cutie!

I just came back to look at all of the Morkies over here and do a little reflecting. It makes me feel very sad when over on the GD board going at it about mixes and that is getting more posts then oru guys did.:(

Don't they understand that all dogs no matter what the breed give unconditional love to their owners? It makes me want to take note of the really hardlines and how they truly feel about us.:(

This is why I waited over a year before even posting once~I do not have perfect specimens of the yorkie breed and god for bid a morkie~~~BUT I love both of mine all the same.:)

What made me come back here to look again was to see if there where any posts from just admirers saying something sweet about all of our babies. disappointing and sad:(

I love me yorkie and my morkie and would love to add a maltie to made a set. Is that soooooo wrong?

Your babies are so sweet. Like I had said before, I think you got the best of both breeds :love:
