I'm so sorry to hear of your lose. My heart goes out to you and your family. |
I am so sorry for you... I know nothing I can say will make you feel better, but I just hope you find comfort knowing that others share your sadness and are all here for you on yorkietalk. -Jade |
Boy, I'm a frequent dog-sitter, myself. I'm so very careful with doors and keeping tabs on the dogs. After hearing of your loss, I'm going to be even more careful about the babies that I care for. It would take me a long time to get over causing such pain to an owner. A silent house, gee, maybe what helped Stitches29 could help you when you are ready? Warm hugs to you. |
Thanks for asking how I am. Things are getting better but, I still find myself crying when ever I think of her or picture her in my head. Thank you so much for the support. In my heart I've come to accept what happened as an accident but I can't help but question a lot of things you know, I just loved her so much. This is by far the hardest thing I have ever been through. I'm glad I have warm people around me. It really feels ggod to know that I can send my feelings out there and even if they are not answered, they are understood. |
oh my gosh iam so sorry for you loss! you are in our thoughts and prayer! |
Im so sorry to hear of your loss!!! :( :( |
The pain is almost unbearable to lose something you love so much! You've come to the right place, incredible healing happens here, it's the only thing that got me through the loss of my dear little Sophie. You are in my prayers, I still cry over my baby but I know I'm not alone with my tears, others experience the same pain and we bear it together at YT. |
I am SO sorry for the loss of your little one. :( |
My Baby Has Gone To Heaven 2 Attachment(s) Hi everyone. I was so happy when I found this site. My baby Lucy just passed away on Monday July 25,2005. Sunday she was just fine and then Monday morning I found her just laying in her room not responding to me the way she always does. She was drooling and acting very confused. Her tummy was tight as a rock. I took her to the vet at which point they started all kinds of test. Lucy was only 9 months 10 days old. My vet suspected a portosystemic shunt or liver shunt which means that blood vessels are suppose to go through the liver to be filtered before entering the heart. It is thought that she had this shunt which allowed dirty blood to go directly to the heart. My vet worked on her for 3 hours before Lucy just couldn't go anymore and stopped breathing. I sat there with her lifeless body in my arms for an hour crying and tried to tell her goodbye. An autopsy is being performed as we speak for a true cause of death. I am still a mess. I was in love with Lucy. When I would come home from work she would pass my husband and come straight to me for hugs and kisses. She slept with me most of the time. A very cuddly dog. I got her when she was 4 months old and we made an instant connection. My heart is broken and it's hard to go home or do anything because everything reminds me of her. I took her everywhere. I will get her ashes sometime next week. It just hurts my heart so much. |

my heart goes out to you, reading this brings it all back to me when millie was 8 months old she had the exact same thing happen to her but not as bad, i rushed her to the vet and he treat her for worm infestation, thinking that was the cause of her very swollen and hard tummy, but i knew it wasnt that as she had only just been wormed about 2 weeks before and she jsut didnt seem right so i took her to the vet again and said i wasnt happy and woudl they check her again , luckily it was a differant vet on duty and he got her details up and noticed she had not gained any weight since her checkup aged 6 months so he ran a bile and acid test and yes she did have a liver shunt, millie was operated on aged 9 months last august and thankfully she came through it and is now a normal little dog... im really so very very sorry you lost your little one i will keep you in my prayers hugs janis millie & max :( :( |
