| I had to help my precious Abby over the rainbow bridge 2 weeks ago. I am totally heartbroken. She was all I had. Not sure there are any people still here from 14 years ago that would recognize my postings about Abby.

| Oh yes I definitely remember Abby! So sorry for your loss! My Cali is 14 so I know how devastating that loss might be.

Yes it really is devastating. It’s so lonely without her. I miss her so very much. Not used to not having a fur baby.

| I am so sorry for your loss, and know what a heart break it is to lose your sweet girl. My Tiki is now 14 1/2 and Karlee and Kayla are 13 1/2..... I dread knowing that they too will be crossing the Rainbow Bridge in the not too distant future.

| I too am returning after being gone for nearly the same time as you. I lost my sweet Bella two days ago, also our last fur baby. So I know how lonely it feels without them and how devastated you must be. Hugs and so very sorry for your loss. |

It was very lonely without her, so I finally got a new little Yorkie April 2023. Her name is Skylar. ( if I can remember how to attach a photo, I’ll put one here of her ) She’s a very good little girl but I do miss Abby but know she is in a much better place. Skylar got traumatized a couple months after I got her. We were out on a walk and standing waiting to cross the street when 2 heavy equipment trucks turned the corner. The noise frightened her so bad, she now has anxiety with noise aversion. She gets anxious when I take her outside to potty. She won’t go on walks anymore and is happiest staying in 4 walls. Haven’t found anything that would help this. I’ve tried calming chews but they don’t help. She does like them though. I really don’t want to drug her up. I did try ( for 2 months ) Reconcile ( doggy Prozac ), but it turned her into a zombie dog in the house and did nothing for her noise aversion. It’s really for separation anxiety, which she doesn’t have, but the vet said it’s used off label for noise aversion. So that’s my bit of dilemma. I hope your heart heals soon. Keeping you in my prayers.
