| Macie Gracie went to doggy heaven My Macie was born on June 9th, 2011. I only had her in my life for 8 months, but she made those 8 months awesome. She was my little buddy. She followed me everywhere. Her favorite things to do were to climb on the back of my sofa, play with her little squirrel and eat crushed ice. She went nuts for crushed ice. I loved her so much, but God had a better plan for her. Shes in heaven now playing with the Angels. Macie isnt with me anymore, but she'll always be in my heart. I love you my little Macie Gracie. I'll never forget you. |

Her liver and kidneys were both smaller than normal and misshapen. She just wasnt developed fully. Thats why she never grew bigger than 2lbs 13oz. I spoke with someone from YT and the specialist about what was best for Macie. Even if she made it through the kidney stones surgery, her life span would have been very short. He said her recovery chance was very poor. I decided I didnt want to put her through anymore pain so I decided to let her fall asleep in my arms Monday afternoon at the specialist office. | |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my little Dixie to underdeveloped kidneys at 7 months. It was just congenital and nothing we could do.

| You did what was best for your Macie, you were there, you went through it and you should not second guess anything you did. Underdeveloped organs can not be "fixed." Many years ago my Black Lab, constant companion to my 12 year old son, played fetch, guard dog (even chasing the butterflies away from my son as he played) sat and wouldn't move till commanded to do so, went everywhere with us and just completed our family....suddenly collapsed and died. No signs, no symptoms, beforehand. Rushed to the ER Vet, autopsy for peace of mind performed. Underdeveloped kidneys and heart....even had we known we would not have been able to save our beloved HUGO. I know your pain, I really do, take the time you need, be at peace with your ultimate gift to Macie and remember her for the happiness her little life gave to you, if only for a short while...

| I'm so sorry, I know you did what you could but sometimes letting go is really the best thing for them. Not so much for you, but for them. You took on her pain so that she would be freed from it.

YT 1000 Club Member | I am so sorry to read of Macie's illness that ended her life so soon. May Macie rest in peace. I hope you can take some comfort in knowing your baby is no longer in pain and cherish those wonderful memories you both made.
