Brett - thank you so much for sharing Koda's life with us. Forever, I will remember your words "we believe Koda was a special gift from God. God wanted us to receive His unconditional love for us in a tangible, physical way by bringing Koda into our lifes when He did. GFod wanted us to see and experience His love in all the ways that best connect with us -" What a beautiful way to express such a profound thought. You are absolutely correct because these little fur babies bring so much into our lives. That is why when we lose them, our hearts are broken beyond words. No one can really understand the pain you are feeling, because every where you go, there are reminders of Koda. When we lost our first Yorkie, it shattered our family. The house was too quiet, and every room had reminders of Tami. It took a very long time to heal from that lost, but we get comfort from believing that some day we will be reunited. We will stop by Rainbow Bridge to collect all our little fur babies on our way to meet our God. Your life has been made so much better because Koda was a part of it, and all of us on YT are forever grateful to you for sharing your pain with us. You and Scott are in my thoughts and prayers. Please keep posting and God bless.

I joined YorkieTalk.com early March of this year and while I was browsing around, I found your old thread about what happened to your beloved Koda. I was dumbfounded. I could not help but cry because I put down my 18 years old Bichon last year of July and I could not get over my lost. There were moments I thought I had gotten over my grief but still there are times that I couldn't help but cry because I missed my baby so much. Anyway, last Feb.2, I got this 7year old Yorkie and I suddenly there's spark of light in my life again. Since I found and read your old thread, I've been trying to know how you've been holding up. I posted a message for you at your old thread, wondering how you are as I know how hurtful it is to lose your beloved pet that you treated like your baby. Anyway, yesterday while I was browsing, I saw you new thread...gosh how thankful Iam to find and read your tribute to Koda. It's awesome..it made me cry. The pictures of her life are so remarkable and I can sense how great a life she had. Thankyou so very much for sharing her life to everybody. We can learn a great lesson from her life. She was such a joy..a wonderful gift from God. God Bless you and your family.

In Honor of Koda

Be blessed with the knowledge that your loving hands comforted a creature created by our maker.
Be blessed knowing that Koda was a wonderful gift given to you for a purpose and not a burden.
Be blessed you have grown thru Kodas life knowing that a rainbow does exist and you will rejoice one day together.
Be blessed that you have bloomed like a flower thru tradegy and come to the conclusion to smell the rose.
You are the beloved who was chosen for Koda and your declaration of love was pristine. It was factual, honorable, and loyal.
As the days pass remember that Koda physically is removed but she smiles in your hearts, the tears will fall with honor for it is love and only love that gives us what you gave Koda.

May you be blessed during these times....
