Hello, I live in Southern Minnesota....I am looking to adopt a teacup yorkshire, would like a male, but can be female...and doesn't have to be 100% yorkshire...just have the look.

Hi, I live in Eden Prairie. This is my first post. It's so much fun to log on and see what everyone is talking about. I am totally addicted to Yorkies. I have a four year old named Riley. I've lived in MN all my life and really do love it here.

Thanks for the tip. I would go but I'll be out of town at that time. I love antique shopping in Jordan, Gramma's Attic. Simon and Nigel are such cute names. Did you get them at the same time? I'm thinking about getting another Yorkie, but I'm afraid how Riley will react if he has to share me.

I have two Yorkies and it is so much fun to watch them play- esp. in the snow. I guess I trim their nails too much because they were sliding. Too funny. Hope you guys have fun in the snow- just remember to dress them up warmly.

Has anyone heard of a YT breeder in Stillwater? I think her first name is Barb. I saw her quoted in the Yorkshire Terrier magazine a while back.

I am from Minnesota...Eyota to be exact...about 15 minutes from rochester. I do not have a yorkie yet but i want one sooooo bad :) any tips in finding a good, healthy dog for not an outragous price would be awesome! thanks :p

Are the breeders you speak of from Arlington JG Kennels - Julie Gildea? We just bought 2 Yorkies from her...and named them Annie and Susie on Feb 11, 2006.

No, I had talked to Julie but went with a breeder in Elk River. I think next year we will be adding another to our family for sure. That would be fun to have two at once though.

Hi,

I got Daphne from Sandy Kuta in Elk River, a breeder for 12+ years. Nice lady, great looking dogs. Recently got a biewer, i think they are called from Germany and will be bredding those next year.

She is Sanjur, if that is familar as well. Very happy with our addition.

Mine is Mandy and Casey. I saw lil Chester there. He was a tiny fellow. I was told Daphne was going to be about 4lbs or so. How about you? When did you get yours again?

My Chester was 1 year in August so he is 18 months old. and he weighs a whole 3lbs. very tiny and tiny frame.
