Kansan, also Hi Y'all. I am also from Kansas. I am from Caney. It is right on the Oklahoma line just north of Barlesville, OK on highway 75. Also just 18 miles from Coffeyville and Independence. I don't have a Yorkie yet, but I am looking for one. I have a Westie and I want to get a Yorkie. My granddaughter also wants one, so we are both looking. I have a granddaughter who lives in Pittsburg and is going to PSU there and another granddaughter who will move in with her in January to also attend PSU. If somone knows of a good deal on some Yorkies, let me know. I can't wait to get one. They are so precious and my little Westie ( who is 6 months old) really wants a playmate besides me. |

That is cool that you are close. I just got my yorktese from the vet that ytsirk27 is talking about she is a very nice lady. Try looking at the big nickel there are usually yorkies in there. Good luck on your search. I am also a student at PSU. |
There is also a breeder here in Fredonia, but I'm not sure what she charges, I'll be happy to find out for you if you want. |

We're from Kansas, too. We're in Wichita, and we got our little guys from a breeder in Moundridge. Someone on another thread told us about an upcoming Kansas YT get-together. Anyone know when and where? |

I know my brother wanted to go soo bad, he even cried becuase my mom did not take him :( . My mom was mad at herself for not taking him and she tried to find soemone to take him but no one could. I wish I could have been there it would have been soo exciting. |
Thanks for the info on the get-together Staci. I think Fredonia is probably a little farther than we want to drive for a Sunday trip, but maybe we can organize a Wichita meeting sometime soon since there's so many of us here! Hope you all have fun on Sunday! :) |
It is an hour I think from Wichita. Wichita is a three hour drive so I think that is why we made it in Fredonia. Jessica is coming too from Wichita maye you guys could go together,, just a thought. It would be cool if you guys could make. Hopefully we can get another set up soon though. |
