My "baby" hit by a truck this morning
1 Attachment(s) We got a call waking us up at 615 this morning a woman asked me if i had a little chihuahua named gavin, i told her i did but he had been found, (he got out while on a potty break last week was missing for a bit), i figured she thought she had found him.
well she said im sorry maam but im holding him and he has his tags on him he has been hit by a truck. we didnt know he was gone he was in the house when we went to bed. were thinking someone tried to get in the house, and we have those little door alarms for my autistic son, its not a house alarm it just beeps when the door opens, we think someone opened the door and thought they set off an alarm so they ran off, well we guess he ran out while the door was open, hes dark brown so they may or may not have seen him run out.
well this man was driving to work and saw a truck strike him and send him flying through the air flipping a few times. he stopped and got him he said he was on his back and bleeding from his mouth. he wrapped him up in his military jacket and brought him to his wife to figure out. we got him right away and took him to the vet, after xrays and blood work and alot of tears he looks just find his mouth is swolen where we think was the impact and his foot is sore but no breaks no lacerations. nothing. we are amazed he is even here with us, so is the vet.
This is our very first baby, it was my first christmas gift from my husband before we were even engaged, he will be 12 next month and has been in fair health this year, we are all amazed he survived this and he is still with us, heres a picture of my little man, please if you could send out a few prayers for a speedy uneventful recovery wed apriciate it |
