Anyone use Solid Gold food? I use it and I love it. BUT it takes both of mine about 2 weeks to go through a 4lb bag. I have been buying it from a local pet bakery for about $10.00. Is that a good deal? Where do you get yours from and how much do you pay? |
I don't use it, but I know you can buy it at Petco :) Before I started homecooking, I tried mine on it, and she didn't like it after the first day. |
I wonder if there price is the same.. hmm.. although I try not to go to Petco and Petsmart anymore. Thanks:) |
I think www.petfooddirect.com carries it also. If you sign up for their newsletter, they send you coupons all the time for 15% off and things like that. |
Ok, thanks. Going to sign up:) |
I switched to Solid Gold and my dogs love it. I bought the wee bits for Alphy and it was about $10 or 12 bucks. I bought Abby the Holistic and it was $46!!!!! I bought it at Petco, but I know that there is a you do it yourself dog wash place that carries the holistic for a few bucks less. |

edit to add: I didn't order it :) I'll shop locally |
Wow!! |
I use solid gold for chester for awhile, I pay 9.00 for the wee bit and the milenium is I believe 8.00. The petco here is washington dont sell it at least not in the tacoma area, good food and the customer service is good if you call them and they will call you back, that says something to me. |
heartypet.com has free shipping thru today, 9/23, but I don't know if they carry the Solid Gold. |
I pay 10.00 for mine.Petco doesnt carry it here in Virginia. They only carry the treats. I go to pets stores or Feed Stores |
So its about the same price everywhere that I pay. I looked at petfooddirect.com and shipping is whats costing me more. Guess I will still go to my local store! |
are you using the wee bits, or the all stage diet, mine love the little bite jerky treats. I need the smaller size bite for Wicket. he is 7 mos old, |
Mine is called Hutchens Flock Puppy Food, its in the Silver bag. |
