Taffy made it through it this morning she gets to come home tomorrow. The vet won't let her go until she eats some. My poor baby. My pup C.J. has been moping around here hes been looking for her out the window. I will keep everyone updated tomorrow. Thanks for the prayers |
Taffy Home!!! Taffy is home save and sound except I am walking on pins and needles. I am so afraid that she will break her stichets open. I'm afraid the pup C.J. will jump on her and hurt her. She does want me to hold her more and she growls at the pup like to say (Just leave me alone, kid) She did eat her supper of special scrambled eggs and chicken rice. I know I am spoiling her terribly but she has been though so much. She is sleeping right next to me on the floor right now. I have to give her antibotics for 10 days and take her back in 14 days to get stitches out. When she came home she was belching and fluid would come out especially after she drank her water. Is this normal? Thanks for the prayers I know they helped her and I. Thanks again |
Does she have pain medication? Definitely watch her to insure she doesn't jump or run for a few days. Belching, I imagine that is normal since her tummy is swollen, and she will feel better tomorrow. Always rough the third day after surgery. Good luck and will be watching for updates. Warmly, Deborah |

Taffy is feeling a little bit better today she was sun bathing off and on. I figured it was good for her. The vet doesn't give painmeds. He doesn't want them to be active for at least a week. She has been taking her antibotics real well with a little bit of a hotdog helps the medicine go down ;-) |
