| Poops in MY Bed Lately my 3 year old Yorkie has been pooping in my bed sometime in the middle of the night. He is trained to go outside and will only occasionally have accidents indoors. Last night it was really gross because I rolled over and woke up with it all over my pajamas! Very gross! He had done this once before for about a week, I brought him to the vet and she said there was nothing physically wrong with him and it must be behavioral. Anyone else have this problem? |

| Nope, mine poop on the floor.. He might be sick, or want your attention for something. |

| Then you need to let him know that you are in control, and thats NOT acceptable. When he does it tell him no, and then where ever time out is in your house, thats where he needs to go. OR You can just not have him get in your bed at all.. |

Mmm.. Then I would just let him sleep in his crate for a while, then after a week or two of letting him sleep in his crate, let him try to sleep with you again. But if you let him sleep in his crate and he poops in it, there must be something wrong. Do you take him outside right before he goes to bed? | |

| Well at least I'm not the only one! I am going to try feeding him dinner early , like 5 PM. The maybe he will have to poop by 7:30, which is the last walk before bedtime. I don't think I can sleep without him, bedsides, he'd probably bark all night! |

| Yeah, I know how you feel, but I wouldn't want him pooping in my bed. Try that feeding him earlier and let me know how it works Good luck! |

| Is it wrong to laugh at this? I think our little ones get away with a whole lot. My Bear hasnt done this specifically, we use the pee-pads, we feed him early in the morning and then again early in the evening. There has been a couple of times when he has not finished pooping and has taken his poop up onto our bed. Yes, it is very discusting. But (giggle) I can't imagine him doing it while we are in the bed asleep. It is kinda funny, kinda. My advice- discipline. Dogs are pack animals and while with their mom as pups are taught boundries. Otherwise they will take charge as the alpha dog. Naturally someone needs to take charge, no matter how cute they are you should take a stand. Discipline is not a four-letter word. It is a lifestyle. Hope it works out with your furbaby!

| Thats what I think, you have to let them know that you are in charge, and you are the boss. |
