| Adopting a male Yorkie-Poo, any advice? Hello. I am new here but not new to rescue. I have been a rescuer of terriers for over 10 years but I have never had a Yorkie or a Yorkie poo. We are very excited but also smart enough to know that it's not all fun all the time. I am experienced at training but never such a small dog. I have read a lot about the wee-wee pads, but I don't want to use wee-wee pads. I like "curb training" which is similar to potty training but for dogs/pups. Since I work from home, I can go in and out often hopefully reinforcing the "spot" that our yorkie-poo should use. Also, my yorkie-poo to come, is very light in color unlike his sister. The entire litter was rescued, so I got a chance to see some of the siblings. Also, do any of you find it harder to train the boys v the girls? I have read mixed opinions on this and your thoughts would be nice. Great day to all. Jay |

| I have never owned a Yorkie Poo but they certainly are adorable. Congratulations on your new addition. There is a special place in heaven for people like you who come to the aid of helpless animals. Thank you for all your efforts and good luck with your new baby. I have only trained my dogs for potty outside. |
