| When do they bark I have known my yorkie sinc ebirth. We have had him in our home almonst three weeks. HE has only barked once at one of the new sounds we were intorducing him to. When do they start barking? He gets very excited and even concerned , but does not bark. Dont get me wrong we are planning to train him not to bark as best we can. Thanks

| LOL. My Holly is 9 months and she doesn't bark either. She has but I do the shhhhht sound. LOL. I don't mind if she does it outside as she is after all, a dog. She doesn't do it inside. I think your puppy will find his voice. LOL. Sometimes when they get really excited or are around other dogs. Oh I just sent you a PM as well.

I Love My Lil' Punkin's Donating Member | My little Tatum is almost 9 months old (she will be 9 months in a few days) and she NEVER barks. In fact, we have had her almost 6 months and I have only heard her bark a few times (when a noise startled her). And her bark is SO funny....she literally sounds like a bird chirping. Her little voice is so tiny and raspy sounding lol it is just so cute I actually wish that she WOULD bark a little more (not constantly of course) but it is just so darn cute to hear - and I never get to because she doesn't do it The first time we ever heard her bark we were outside...and my hubby and I literally thought that it was a bird that was making the noise LOL. Just so funny! Wish I could get it on video for you to hear - but I can't ever catch her doing it because for her to bark is a VERY RARE thing lol.
