| Bummed out I'm going to Cape Cod for 4th of July weekend with my brother and his wife and my 2 nieces and my boyfriend. We rented a nice house from a friend of my brother's. The problem is - no dogs allowed. I'm so bummed out . The house has a private beach with a little dock and I know the dogs would love it. I tried to get my bro to convince his friend to let me bring the pups - but no luck. They don't chew or scratch and hardly ever bark! This guy has 2 Westies too! I guess he's a big doglover and has pictures of his dogs all over his office, and a westie mousepad and coffee mug, etc! Yet, he won't let me bring my 2 innocent little Yorkies to stay in his Cape house for 3 stinkin' nights?! What gives?!

| My mom and dad are going to take the puppies, so I know they'll be safe. It's just that I'm going to miss them & I know that they would have had SO much fun there. We're just going to be staying at the house or on the beach - so the puppies would never be left alone. I don't know if I am going to ejoy myself without them. I left them alone for the whole day last Saturday and I had knots in my stomach all day because I felt like they were missing me

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Awwww...Cape Cod is GORGEOUS and fun ! I've been there many times and just love it there - YOU ARE SO LUCKY !!! but ...That's a BIG shame about your babies - what good is a beach house if not for families and kids and yes...their pets ? What a party pooper...and he DOES have westies ? I guess you have to respect his decision - Me personally...If I had a beach house (which isn't likely) - I would want everyone welcome... dogs and all....that's half the concept of a weekend on the beach ! |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | lol...Is this a beach house or Trump Tower ? I would say - have fun - you deserve it...bring your cell and call home often and your babies will be fine with your parents - they can have their own adventure but that is too bad they can't go....I know some people can go a little overboard - but really ...It's a Getaway House....beach cottages will get sandy no matter who's in them if they're having fun...A clean beach house usually means a boring beach house.... |
