| Painted nails? Does anyone have a yorkie with painted nails? I took Sadie to the groomer and she said that it is almost impossible to paint a yorkie's nails because of the way the hair is on the paws. Does anyone else's yorkie's have painted nails? |

| Even my little Bijou (not much hair going on) has too much hair on her feet to even see her toenails, much less paint them. LOL. I would think you would have to really clip all the hair on their feet to expose the nails first.

| Okay, I guess I was just dreaming. I really wanted her to have painted nails! Sometimes reality and my head do not agree. |

| Well maybe you could just paint them at home, just for fun...that way you wouldn't waste money on it. Then again, most yorkies don't like having their nails clipped, so it would be reeaally difficult to pain them. But I agree, its such a cute idea

I paint my Boxer and my Chihuahua toe nails all the time, but never Chloe's (my yorkie). I agree with your groomer as I have personally tried, it is impossible to paint a yorkie's toenails. Well maybe not impossible, I just lack the patience for it. So does Chloe, even though dog nail polish dries fast she'd move to quicky and her hair would get stuck in the paint. It was just a mess and a pain.

| My boss has a Schnauzer, and she is so cute with her nails painted. I was just jealous . Oh well, I guess if I really want to do it, I will do it myself. However, I doubt I will. Thanks y'all! |

| I've heard to take an old panty hose... poke the yorkies toenails through them so it's on sort of like a sock w/their toenails peeping out. It keeps the hair off of the nails while they get painted =) |

Dog nail polish is GREAT. It dries in less than a minute, (shhhhh, dont tell anyone but I actualy sometimes use dog nail polish on myself since Im impatient and hate waiting for regular nail polish to dry ) But anyways I sell some on my website www.tinkerbellscloset.com in the grooming/spa section, or www.beyondspoiled.com sells doggie nail polish too.

| Hallie gets her nails polished everytime she gets groomed. The groomer just cuts back the hair on her feet a bit. She also had them polished for her recent wedding That was over a month ago and her nails are still red!!! That polish is amazing! |
