| Can you predict this girl's future coloring?? My lil girl, Rio, is really dark.... Actually, it didn't really bother me until people would say, "wow, that's the darkest yorkie I've seen." Maybe it's because she's always with her brother, Sammie (who is really light) but now I'm curious to know now...what color she's going to be when she's older...Anyone's baby look like Rio when they were young??? She is only 12 weeks and Sammie is 15 weeks Rio is pictured on the left...Sammie is pictures on the right |

| She is beautiful! There is no reason that her being dark should bother you! They are all different shades of brown, tan, etc. |

| Here's Jewelina as a baby at about 7 1/2 weeks old and here's another picture of her now. She's 22 weeks old. She is still very dark but just recently I have noticed the colors on her head breaking and changing a little bit in color and seems to be getting lighter into the more "standard" colors. Don't let what other people say bother you about her being dark. I've heard the longer they have their dark colors and don't break, the better it is, as once their new colors come in they will last longer and not fade so quickly. Both of your babies are beautiful!! |

| I have no idea, but I just have to say how darling she and her brother are! And to be honest, she really doesn't seem that dark at all. Out of curiosity, who is saying that she is dark? I get comments on how "big" my little guys is. He tips the scales at 5.1 lbs. Huge. I know. I think a lot of people are either used to seeing pics of yorkies as full grown showdogs in the ring, or as tiny tiny baby pups, and get confused when they see one in the middle.

| All yorkie puppies are born black with tan marks.....they change over time. Since her head is clearing I don't think she's gonna remain black...You don't want them to, or at least I don't want them to clear and change color too fast....If that happens at too young an age....they tend to lighten to a silver blue color on their body....especially girls.

| Thank you!!!!....She is a lil darker than the photo (I think the flash lightened her up a bit) She is a sweetheart .... Someone the other day outside my complex saw her and Sammie. They told me she was really dark and questioned if she was a full breed Yorkie. I paid for a full breed yorkie but then I got a lil worrried. |

| Its hard to tell. I usually look at the roots to see if another color is coming in. Izzy had silver roots on his head. Both of them are adorable though!! I love their coloring. Nice pedicure by the way.

| I don't think she is that dark at all! Yorkies change so many times it is hard to figure out what color they will actually be. She is beautiful no matter what color she winds up. |

| It's so hard to tell, especially when they are this young. Riley took quite awhile for her color to start breaking and now everyday I seem to notice more. I'm actually hoping she stays on the darker side since Penny is so light. I'd like to have one of each! I don't think your baby is extra dark or anything; I think she's super cute! You will be amazed at just how much they change. Wait until your kids are a year old or so and then drag these pictures back out! You won't believe the differences! |

| They are both just gorgeous, though I don't think she is all that dark. Their coloring changes so much in the first 2 years you never know exactly what color they will end up. Just enjoy all the changes, because there are many to go through. |
