| Too young for a bath? Mickey and I had out first trip to the vet this morning, and it was a messy one. He got car sick and threw up in his carrier on the way there, and on the way back. I was able to clean it up ont the way there, but I didnt catch it on the way back, and he ended up falling asleep and rolling around in it, and now he's a big (okay- little) smelly mess! Should he have his first bath today as well, or is this going to be too stressful of a day for him? He is just over 10 weeks old. We took him home on Saturday. |

| I don't think 10 weeks is too young for a bath but it might be too much trauma in the same day as the vet visit. Has he been introduced to the blow dryer yet? That can be scary for them too. Can you just spot wash him? Poor baby! Scary bad Vet!

| i gave indy a bath at 9 weeks cause he threw up on the way home from the breeders, i just made sure to keep him warm and dried him on low with warm air, he didnt freak out at all, but my pom freaks out so i think it depends on the puppy to. turn on the water and just put a bit on him and if he seems ok with the noise and feeling i say go for it, if not id use a damp cloth.
