| Will belly bands help my boys? My boys are potty pad and outside trained. I'm single and I work sometimes 9 hours a day. I don't crate or contain them to a certain area because I'm gone so long. I haven't gated them in the kitchen because they enjoy laying on the back of the couch and looking out the window all day. They are 1 and 2 yrs old. They do well with the potty pads and they go outside, but they also mark quite a bit in different places throughout the house, ie: against doors, on rugs, which I've pretty much picked them all up, and along the baseboards. I have dark wood floors so sometimes I don't see it right away unless the light is shining just right. I never see them do it when I'm home, so I figure they are doing it when I'm at work. I wondered about trying some belly bands, but there again, I think they only do it when I'm at work. Is that to long to leave them on? I'm probably going to have to break down and gate them up during the day. I feel guilty. I actually worry that they'll be bored without the window to look out. For the sake of my floors, it may be my only choice. So, what do you think YTers? Belly bands, or restricting them to linoleum throughout the day?

| My boy wears belly bands most of the day. He hates peeing in them which is good because I take it off and take him out.........when he comes back in, I put his belly band on...... He also wears it at night Do what works for you. Good luck

| Where can I get a belly band? I looked at Petco & Petsmart and all they have are $20 dollar diapers. Is this all that is out there? Or did I just not look hard enough?

| I'm interested... how big is your male and how do you fasten it. My guys are 12 and 7 pounds - you think they would fit in diapers?

| Des (Tigers Mom) makes great belly bands. They are actually very easy to make. I make my own now and before this I have never used a sewing machine in my life. |
