I posted my Oprah comment, pages and pages ago, then continued reading (hadn't even watched the report yet). This is quite the thread... I would just like to say Good job David at Fox News SCORE: Fox News = 1, Brushy Creek = ZER0 |
Holy Crap!! I have seriously been keeping up on this thread and i swear i didn't check it today and i had to read like 12 pages!!!  Great Job David and Fox!! this needs to stop and he needs to be shut down. Thank you V for all the links lol i was totally lost trying to find the story lol. It was a good start to this story and i am very interested to see the rest. I am sorry to all you who support Brushy Creek but if he has to flee the country he obviously has something to hide. The only reason he came on here was to debate he said the same things over and over. He offered no proof to his claims that he was a reputable business or breeder and even if his story was twisted he looks way more guilty not saying anything at all. As a buyer beware world we live in we have to stick together to spead the knowledge so that people won't be scammed. We will not ever be able to take down the puppy mill industry but damn it we can try and this is a great way to start if more people like David and Fox would do stories on this it would put a big hamper on puppy mills and brokers. I say spread the word to every tv station, radio and talk show we can knowledge is power!!!!!!!!!!! |

you called it Dobie - good job .....now when are you going to open your own thread ? I'd love to see pictures of your llamas - (but NOT the dead dog pictures) & just think - you can post your butt off...I bet you could annoy enough people to get a healthy debate going ....you seem to be REALLY good at posting & I actually think you're interesting ...to start you off I already suggested a name for your thread remember ??? |
Quote:
You mean I annoy you? and all this time I thought you were just playing me! I have a web site so if you want to see them all you have to do is ask. I only have the dead llama and dead dog photos for evidence. One day I will have my justice Well Mrs. V you mean I haven't posted my butt off yet? Well we will just have to fix that one. It's been fun I never knew joining this site would be this much fun. (And now for the nay sayers "but dobie you are contentious and can't admit when your wrong") Truly if Fox does a good job next time I will give them kudos but this time they were well how can I say this?? being like my little guy and lifting their leg and marking territory. I will watch Inside edition or which ever news group covers it and give my views on it. (I know I know don't everyone applaud at once) I think I should have a permanent thread here "Ask Mr. Contentious" Or "Ask Dobie" Better yet "Dispute Resolution with Dobie" I wonder if the mods would allow me the pleasure. Maybe we can have a contest to name my thread! Yeah Yeah I like it. I seem really good at posting? Hum I am not sure how to take that V? |
The Other Side Of The Coin - Yes There Is One! Quote:
WHAT ABOUT INTERVIEWING ALL THE HAPPY, SATISFIED CUSTOMERS????? The point that many keep forgetting is that Mr. Moore does NOT INTENTIONALLY SELL SICK DOGS!!! If you all only knew. It sure would be nice if someone did a story on all the MANY, MANY, MANY HAPPY, SATISFIED & RETURN customers they have. I suppose the negative once again gets the attention over the positive! It's sad, but true! PUPPIES ARE ANIMALS and NOT MACHINES AND THERE IS A GUARANTEE IN HIS CONTRACT! Why would anyone purchase if they didn't agree with it to begin with? Many of you seem to believe he is just out to intentionaly hurt others to make money! Most of you DO NOT EVEN KNOW Mr. Moore! He is one of the most generous people I know! He would literally give you the shirt off his back if you were in need! I'm guessing I couldn't say that about many these days. Could you say that about yourselves? Do you know many that would go out of there way to help you if you needed it without asking, paying or begging for it? So, when humans are born and come down with a cold or disease or die, that is the parent's fault??? It's the same thing isn't it? Is it possible that there are things beyond human control that do happen? I am guessing that there are many other breeders out there and the same sort of issues happen to them with dogs unintentionally getting sick. Mr. Moores dogs are taken care of and live better than many humans in this world. If you only knew. I can't stress that enough!!! The difference I'm guessing is that in other breeder businesses, when issues have happened it probably hasn't been with a past friend who had their differences, a past business associate with differences who then became a tough competitor. I'm guessing that most people are not in general, maliciously cruel by nature to want to go out of there way and spend thousands and thousands of dollars to ruin a man, his family & business. Is it possible that there is A LOT more to this story from this other broker then she is letting on? Why would this broker keep purchasing dogs from here for so long if she supposably got so many sick dogs? Why would she have been close friends with these people for so long and then do everything in her power to destroy them? Is it possible that this lawsuit had nothing to do with sick dogs? Is it possible that to this broker, this is NOT at all about any sick animals? Is it possible this is all about money, greed and her own personal hate? Is it possible that this broker has a long trail of initiated lawsuits under her belt to keep the money rolling? Is it possible that some of the dogs she sells get sick also? Hmmm..... just a thought...there is always another side to every story. WHAT ABOUT INTERVIEWING ALL THE HAPPY, SATISFIED CUSTOMERS????? |

I kind of like "Ask Mr. Contentious" myself  ...or how bout this - "Duking it out with Dobie" ? I won't use the other 'D' words I was thinking though 2 good ones come to mind :D |

You still don't get it do you. You are SUPPOSED to have happy customers. Happy customers dont make the story. It is what is expected. It seems like the jury that heard the case didnt quite see it like you do. That is why we have due process and you have the court system. Oh and by the way you slipped and said here meaning you are part of Brush Creek. Didnt know if you caught that or not. |
Well, look at it this way. If a car producer was making/selling cars left and right and many of the cars that are sold have problems with them...more or less lemons...and people were complaining. Shouldn't the manufacturer do whatever is necessary to alleviate the problems in the vehicles? Shouldn't the manufacturer want to make sure that ALL of the customers are happy and satisfied? Why should a car buyer fork out money not only for the vehicle but also the endless repairs to keep it running? If there are several news stations that are investigating Bushy Creek Kennels then obviously, there is a big problem. He is manufactoring puppies that are sickly and as a producer, he needs to make sure that most...if not all...of his customers are happy. JMO |

I think we have a winner |
I left a comment on Fox's website in Houston. I also emailed my local Fox station and told them they might need to look into broadcasting the Houston story in our market because this is not just a local issue. Sunshine To paraphrase what has already been said. Having happy customers ABSOLUTELY DOES NOT JUSTIFY HOW HE HAS TREATED THOSE CUSTOMERS THAT HAVE COMPLAINTS AGAINST HIM. NO WAY, NEVER. PERIOD. I don't understand why this is such a hard concept to grasp. |
