| Application for Membership--YT TEAPOT Club Dear YT, Please accept my application for membership to the YT Teapot Club. The vet told me today that I weigh 7.25 pounds, and based on this, I feel that I am eligible. I hoped this day would come--but so far I have been hovering in the 6.5 lb. range for several years. I really think this might have something to do with a new scale, but hey---I'll take it. My vet tells me that I am NOT fat, and I am in tip-top shape, due to my rigorous exercise regime of soccer and chasing birds that have the nerve to land in MY yard. My momma is constantly telling me how beautiful I am, and I suspect I am just a big-boned girl (like momma!). Thank you for considering my application. Edith Jones |

| Awww, how cute. I think Roxy just may be right there with you. She hovered for quite a while but just had a growth spurt. In fact, she just had a bath and I noticed how little her head is and how BIG her butt is - she looks like a pear. Roxy would be proud and honored to join you as the newest members of the Teapot Club.

| Sadie would like to tell Edith that sometimes she tips the scale at over 7 pounds, but likes to think it's just because she's moving around too much on the scale & they can't get an accurate reading. So maybe you're not big boned after all, Edith, maybe you're just a wiggle worm.

OMG, your household is just like mine Bobbi, LOVES zanies mice...............I feel so bad for our cat because Bobbi skins them too. He chews on the fur, then chews the gray plastic and the poor cat just stares with his huge eyes wideopen For the last YT gift exchange, Bobbi got a HUGE zanie realistic mouse........he LOVED it..........poor cat's eyes just about popped out when he saw it. Needless to say, it lasted maybe 2 hours before Bobbi skinned it He takes the stuffing out of the toys, destroys all the cat's toys and even gets the catnip out!! I seriously spend God knows how much $$ replacing toys each week. He romps on the ground with the poodle and cat..........(they love each other to death).......but he always manages to pull some cat fur and the evidence is in his mouth.........lol Every time I groom them, I doll him up and the poodle. Well, he can't see her with a pretty bow because he will chew it off He scares me half to death when he chased the cat and jumps off the back of the couch! He really thinks he's a Great Dane!! I should have named him pistol............or Jalape?o

| Roxy isnt alone. I've always said Kizzy has a pear shape. she is long bodied, but small at the neck down to about what I'd say her waist then balloons out in the butt area. But, she has gained weight lately in the smaller parts of her body and that makes it not show as much. Hubbys always called her sapphire due to her big butt. she weighs 11 1/2 lbs now but i'm glad she gained that last weight as its helped her look a little more even. She still dont look like a BIG dog to me till maggie walks up to her. she weighs 5 lbs.

| I would still consider you a little bit, but I guess it is because I am a "jumbo Teapot". I weighed 15 pounds at last weigh in and mom grunts something fierce every time she has to pick me up or I land on her tummy!! I am probably real close to 20 pounds now, SHHHHHHHHHH, don't tell anyone. I don't want to go on one of those "diet things"! I am not fat I am solid! I run and romp with my sissy all day long, and get lots of exercise. And when we get together with Suz pack, I have 6 other yorkie playmates to play tag with. SOme of us are just meant to be big and huggable. Welcome to the club!!! |

| Dixie used to be over 7lbs but she's lost weight recently and is down to 6.6. (i'm not sure how accurate the decimals are because I have to convert from KGs - she's currently 3kg.) She's got the traditional "apple" shape. Broad chest, small waist, broad hips - and little stick legs! I think she looks lovely and girly. Dougal's got a broad(ish) chest and little narrow hips. (He used to weigh 14.3lbs - but with me being on holidays they both lost weight.) I once got Dixie a cat toy with fur stuck on it - it lasted about 20 minutes before there was fur and plastic shreds through out the house. Her royal Dixie-ness - Mouse destroyer. (She's caught a real one too! Ugh!)

Tell you what. Consider her a member of the club, but a provisional one. Weigh her after the soccer season and post more pictures and videos. If she still passes muster, we will welcome her with the two open arms it takes to hold a true teapot Yorkie. And, yes, this has been a longwinded trick to get you to post more pictures now and in the future.
