my first yorkie I lost my 15 year old Maltese and bought a yorkie. Love her so much and she loves me. "Ms Triskie" is 9 weeks old. I have her in a play pen because she is so small and my home is large, she flies and I can loose her in a second. Any help will be appreciated. |

Oh, and be sure to post lots of pictures of your little one. You can find out how on the FAQs or by searching for picture help. |
Congratulations on your new Yorkie! They are sure sweet puppies, aren't they? What help are you looking for. I am going through the new puppy stage as well. I am probably doing it all wrong because mine has the run of the house -- and it is a big old house. I did use a play pen for a few days but then he started trying to climb and I was afraid he would get hurt. He sleeps anywhere and everywhere, at night in our bed, during the day curled up with our shoes, and sometimes even on the dog beds. :) |
Hello and welcome to YT! Congrats on your new baby! Is the play pen have mesh netting on it? If yes, be aware that they can climb out of it. I would use a Ex Pen. Best of luck to you and your new lil one! |
