How many of your yorkies perfer big dogs? I have had Tiny since Febuary. He grew up around my moms dogs: Mr Kaine - 80 lbs boxer and Monkey - 90 lbs pit mix...I took him to the pet store the other day and he acted like he didn't want to have anything to do with the little dogs...Just the big ones....I was thinking that if I tried to get another yorkie how would he react and if he did learn to like them? How long would it take? I just know that Tiny, Monkey and Mr. Kaine are all like best friends...Tiny actually thinks he weights just as much as them if not more!!! I just wonder that if thats all he grew up around then maybe thats all he'll like? Just curious if anyone elses furbabies are like this?

This is so funny to read bc this is EXACTLY how Hootie and Hobbs act. They are literally OBSESSED with big dogs!!!!!!! The breeder I got them from breeds Great Danes and Yorkies and H&H were literally born right next to a Great Dane. I assume that is the reason they feel so comfortable and actually like big dogs. I always joke and tell my hubby that we need to get Hootie and Hobbs a big dog of their very own because they love others' big dogs so much!

Tiny just kinda acted like..." OMG Mom...Please don't let them touch me...please..omg they touched me..." LoL...I was just wonding what the heck was going on? Tiny has never been like that before though? He used to have a Westie that would play with him all the time and .....Well...She was much bigger than him....like 10 lbs at the age of 18 wks....LoL...I guess he thinks shes a big dog too?

Layla's "boyfriend" is a great dane.. she just thinks the sun rises and sets on Skubee. When we see smaller dogs.. she doesn't know what to do with them... she goes to day care with two big yellow labs and her cousin is a huskey! i'm glad she isn't afraid of them because there are more dogs around that are big than that are her size!

| Yes it funny as i thought it was just Pippa. When out she will play with big dogs but tends to be a bit snappy round little dogs. Im sure its just whats she is used to as from 10 weeks old she has played with my lab and they are the best of friends.
