When Chancie was doing bad at the shelter, the girl (Kim) that volunteers there, took Chancie home with her. When Tiffany was going to the shelter, Kim instead had her come with one of Tiffany's Yorkies, to her house - thta's how they found out Chancie was dog agressive to the Yorkie's, which of course is what made Kim take me off the list to adopt (knowing I had 2 Yorkies) and I cancelled my trip out there. THEN we all started talking to everyone trying to find a home that Chancie would be the only dog

AND thought we found it with the couple that went to visit him, but now Kim has not responded to let us know if they adopted him or not. So all we know is he IS in a home, Kim's or that couple that likes Harry Potter, and whoosh they made Kim disappear!

I sent an email to the rescue organization:

Hi!
I inquired before about the Yorkie, Clancy. I met Kim and Clancy. Unfortunately, Clancy was dog-agressive and didn't get along with my Yorkie, so we couldn't bring him home. I am in a forum about Yorkies, and everyone has been following the story of Clancy. He has stolen everyone's heart, and we all want to know how this story turns out! Can you give me an update on Clancy to pass along? I know there was a couple that was going to look at him...did he get a good home?? We are all very anxious to know this little guy gets a great forever home. Thanks in advance for putting us Yorkie Talkers out of our misery!

I've done everything but knock down the door! By the way, he's NOT in the shelter (thank goodness). He was being fostered in a VERY nice house by Kim from the rescue organization. She assured me he would stay right there with her until his forever home is found. I'm hoping the couple who was excited about him adopted him! I was even over there during the weekend and actually knocked on her door! I suspect she was out of town because her big dog didn't even bark...maybe that means good news for Chancie? I will let everyone know the moment I hear back from my email!

I am going crazy not knowing the outcome of Chancy i hate this!! How weird is it that Kim is MIA now and we can't find out anything on Chancy? I;m so sad i just need to hear good news so i know this baby is ok.

I received a brief response from the rescue organization. They said "Clancy" was placed in a forever home, but gave no details.

Here is what they said:

"Thank you for inquiring about one of our adoptable pets! We are happy to report that Clancy was placed in a forever home last week."

At least they threw us a bone.

Knowing how much everyone here cared for Chancie's safety? I can't believe they wouldn't say anything else. This is so frustrating!! I wish there was something more we could do. I guess we should be happy that he has a new home but I think we would all like to hear how he does with his new family.

I just read through this thread! What a story! I just hope he's gone to a good home and that all the missing people will turn up again eventually

Cheryl,come back and make the alien abduction theory go away,its worrying. Im glad he got a home,like to know more though. Oh well,its a happyish ending.
