JoJo gets so excited! Every time we come home JoJo always gets so excited that he does this excited loud cry for about 2 minutes (tail wagging full force, running around LOL). I thought he would grow out of it eventually, and he is a year old now, but he still does it! It's cute but at the same time it can be kind of annoying, like for example if you come through the door while you are on the phone. I can be gone for a short trip but when I come back he is just as excited. Does anyone else's yorkie have an excited cry that lasts a few minutes everytime you come home, or is it just mine? :p |
Oh yea yea, Coco is now 1 year and 3 months and she cries and cries for like 3-4 minutes when I come home from work. It's really cute and it makes me want to hug and kiss her even more because I know how much she really missed me. I hope she doesn't grow out of it :D |
if you don't want them to do this there is a way to train it out of them |
Oh no I don't want to train him out of it, I think it is really cute for the most part, and I like that he gets that excited to see us! :D Vainchick5, Good to know I am not the only one!! :) |
:D I'm also from the bay area. What city are you from? I'm in Pleasanton. |

We have a small dog park (dogs up to 20 lbs) that I take Coco to. It's fenced in so you can run them off leash. I take her on some weekends and there are a ton of yorkies there. You should come some time :D |

This park has helped 3 of my friends' dogs bark less to hardly at all by coming to this park. The first couple of times they came their dogs barked and were very cautious, but by the 3rd time, they were running around with all of the other dogs and chasing each other :D They have fun now and are so well behaved since they became socialized. If you ever want to go PM me and I will give you directions. |
