| Pet Purse Carrier - Any suggestions? I've seen dozens of these on the Internet and as summer approaches, would like to have your ideas about a "fashionable yet durable" pet purse! Even going to the vet would be made easier if my Yorkie could be secured in my "purse" (I don't like to put him on the floor at the vet's--too many germies!) while I'm paying the bill and whatnot. So what styles (links would be appreciated!) have worked best for you? Comfort first, "fashion" second, of course. But a girl and her furbaby must look their best at all times! LOL |

| Hi and welcome to YT. My niece and I both have Juicy Couture carriers, very fashionable and durable Her Yorkie Oliver loves it, but Georgie not so much I think he is like his momma and is claustrophobic! Oliver however will go in there to sleep it's very cute. Georgie he is younger so he doesn't stay still that long

| I do like the Celltei......just don't like how it hangs on your body. All the carriers out have such short handles....I want something that hangs lower like the Celltei, but not TOO low, like the Celltei. Plus I'd like something a littie girlie.

| www.barkslope.com has some cute ones. Not sure how practical they are though. I don't have my Yorkie yet but I will probably buy one from this site. |

| I got mine from www.tinkerbellscloset.com. It was the Soho carrier. It is cute and I put some charms on it.

I got the 14.5 one I believe I know I got the bigger one, because I got it before I even brought him home and I wasn't sure how big he would get.

| I have the sherpa to-go travelling pet carrier and just bought the celtei purse from a YT member. I have use the sherpa to-go many times when Tiger was younger but haven't used it since. . . I have yet to use the Celtei as I got it for Nika . . she won't be using it for long though as it is good for up to 3 pounds only . . . |

| I just got my Celltei Basic bag and I love it! Not only is Aggie safe in there but there are several other things I like about it: > It's compact (I bought Small, fits 6lbs ~ 8lbs) > Safety Strap inside > A mesh-pocket inside for you to put ice/heating pad inside for extreme weather. I thought this was great since I'd be taking Aggie for a few road trips with me this summer. I'll stick a ice pack in there to keep her cool. > A small pocket for water-bottle inside so she still has water. > There's a place on one side of the bag for you to strap the carrier in a car seatbelt. Those are my two-cents. |

| This is a very helpful thread! Keep the ideas coming. I am always looking for lightweight "purse types" that I can take her everywhere in. So many of them are either heavy, are decorated with bones or have a big hole to stick their head out. Sometimes, I need her hidden. Like when I go to Target. |

| I have the denim gap bag for Rowdy and I love it. It just looks like an oversized denim shoulder bag. There is no place for his head to stick out and there are flaps on the both ends which can be down to reveal mesh "windows" on each end, or up so that he is completely enclosed (read hidden). There are round brass open rings at eight places on the bag so that he has breathing holes when the end flaps are up. I love the bag because he can be completely hidden or not and it doesn't look like a cutesy purse - just an oversized denim shoulder bag.
