Looking for a treat! Oscar has always been very picky about treats. He was never very excited about any certain one until now. He loves Waggin' Train Chicken Jerky Tenders. He goes to the cabinet where they are stored when he comes in from doing his job outside. He insists I get one for him. And why not? They have to be good for him. They are premium grade chicken fillet, 97% fat free and high in protein! No grain or by-products to give him gas! I feel good giving them to him. Sam's has the 2 pound bag for $9 and I hear you can get a smaller bag at Wal-mart...they are worth a try! Oscar give them a "paws up"!!! |
romeo luvs these too! he gets 1 when i leave for work. too many and they make his poopy smell really gross. |
Alright OSCAR!! Wosie is excited to know what you like for treats! You make it easy for Birthdays and Christmas! :p Chicken makes Wosie itch, though, so she doesn't get it a lot. :( |
Are they like Chicken Jerkey? We've been giving Aggie Honey Nut Cherrios. She LOVES them! But then again, I haven't found any food she doesn't love. :D |
Yeah...they ARE chicken jerky! Pure chicken!!! Oscar got Frosted Cheerios when he was a wee one to keep his sugar up! |
For months, my dogs totally loved "OleRoy beef sticks" from Walmart. But, eventually, I think they just became tired of them. I liked these treats because they were inexpensive - and stayed fresh and soft for months in their coffee-type can. My dogs don't seem to like any "dog treats" very much anymore. Carol Jean |
Carol Jean I know what you mean! My Chi's used to love those ole roy treats...then all of a sudden, they turned up their noses. Oscar would not even take cheese from my hand! But these chicken jerky treats, he loves. What I love about them is that they don't crumble, so they are not messy...he eats every bite...and the fact that he just loves them so much makes me happy. I love to reward him with something he enjoys and he certainly seems to enjoy these! Now don't get me wrong...one day he might just decide he does not like them, but for now, we are good! Carol Jean, you should try these for your dogs...they might just surprise you! |
