Only child here too! Our Lola is our only furry baby! I have 2 only children! We have a 5 year old daughter, but only one yorkie. |
Gee, when I first saw this thread I thought it would only be for people who have one yorkie and no human children. I was getting ready to give my skin kids away so I could join. Tucker is our only Yorkie. I would love another one but we have a lab and 2 cats. So, Tucker will be staying an only yorkie. But not because Megan doesn't try to talk me in to a girl! |

Chloe is our only yorkie and our only pet right now. I would love to have another one, but can't until I can afford my own place. My parents would never go for having two dogs. They love Chloe, but she is a handful by herself. Plus, the extra expenses of 2 vet bills, etc... The next door neighbors own a yorkie named Macy and she is only 3 months older than Chloe. So, sometimes we can arrange for a playdate. It would have to be only in the evenings and on weekends though because they both work. |

Layla is an only child too! It's just her and me here. Whenever she's grumpy and in a biting mood I tell her she should be careful what she does because I'm her only friend! :D |

My two "big babies" leaving is the reason I got my little furbaby, Cooper. I know he won't leave me and go away to college, LOL :p Here is my Cooper with his brother who is deserting us this fall. |

YEP YEP!! Count us in as well! Parker is an only pup! He has a cat-sissy Athena, (whom I would rather be in another home :secret: ) Border collie-sissy which he has never seen because she lives in Va w/ my mom until we find a place where we are allowed to have pets. (shhhh ;) :D ) and then the fishies!!!! In October he will have a new brother or sissy after I have the baby!!!!!! Boy, I didn't realize my list was that long.... HEHE! Oh well, gotta love them all :grin2: |

HI Tiger's Mom, I know what you mean about the little furbaby being one of the reason's the big babies call ;) After I got Cooper my older son, who is in college way down in Texas, 2400 miles away, came back on an unscheduled trip just to meet Cooper!! Cooper is just a huge bundle of joy for my husband and myself, I don't know how we got along without him all this time!! Your tiger is sure a cutie, (and so is your daughter!) |

Jaxon is proud to be part of the OYCC club!! He's the only dog/child in the house. Although....if I had my way, I would convince hubbie to get another! For now though, Jaxon likes being the center of attention 99.9% of the time. ;) |
We want to join tooo... Fagan is an only Yorkie! He has an Eight year old Corgi Sister and we have a kitty. He also has two human brothers who would love to get another Yorkie...I'm not sure I'm ready for that challenge!!! :) |

Sean (6 years old) is an OYC, too. We adopted him 6 weeks ago from a Yorkie rescue group. He is very happy with all of the attention he gets (very spoiled!!) and is very social when anyone stops by to visit. He loves other dogs, too. Maybe he'll get a brother or sister sometime. |
Lucy is my only furbaby in the house and boy is she spoiled! She has "her" St. Bernard outside, but knows she is the queen. She goes everywhere with me and even gets babysat by "grandma (my mom)" when I go to school 1 time a week so that she is not at home by herself any longer than she has to be. I would lOVE to have another one, but want a female like her. Just can't afford right now to pay the $$$ people her in Indiana are asking....... I have come to the conclusion that she needs a playmate...BAD! |
