Nylabones/Greenies I tossed my girl's Greenies as they just scare me. Also, my vet did not recommend them for a small animal. Sadie loves to chew, so today I bought her three different types of Nylabones. The three types are durable, flexible and edible. She ate half of the edible one in no time. I am trying to find a bone that will last, and hopefully she can just chew on it like a pacifier. I am so afraid of her choking. She won't touch the durable and flexible ones, and I imagine the reason is that she cannot really chew on them and bit them in pieces. Does anyone have a bone that they can recommend that is safe, and really does not break into pieces? Thanks. Kate |
I think lots of members use the bullysticks. |
1 Attachment(s) Baby loves the Dental Chew Nylabone. Sometime the little plastic pieces that "brush" her teeth come off, but they come out in her poop! LOL I like it cuz it's durable and it brushes her teeth at the same time. |

I buy the edible bones, they are the only good thing for dogs that I can find here. I used to see them in the pet shops in the UK too, my little Jack Russel used to go crazy for them when he was alive and I was still living in Wales. They are a sandy color, and real tuff, when she chews them they turn a white color. The box here is in french so it says "Buffle" which is Bison in English. It's probably cow hide or something really. Anyway, Can you get them? It takes my 4 month and a bit puppy days and days to eat one, in fact she still hasn't finished one yet. I wish I knew what they were called in the UK, I just used to buy one at a time there, so no labels. If anyone knows what I am talking about....... LOL |
