That happened to me, too, and it freaked my out! I thought she was dead. I could pick her up and drop her (obviously, from like an inch lol) and just as limp as could be. No reflexes. No reaction. I woke her up to make sure. It made me consider getting an infant co-sleeper but I know she'd just crawl off of it to go deeper under covers. |
We keep our house 70 in the summer. That might be why Max loves to sit outside in the sun. I have to get him in so I can shut the door. And he has a full coat! He's a sun god! |
I keep it cold in my room, but the rest of the apartment is warmer and she can go where she pleases. I won't take her out if it's REALLY hot. If it's mid-80's, I may take her out but stay in the shade and mostly carry her around. More for her to get out and be social than exercise. |

We live in southern Virginia. It is hot. Found two great cooling products that help to keep my girl cool. Both are made by DOGO (1) iCool carrier pad (no refrigeration or water needed) pulls the heat from dog's body (2) is a shirt made out of polyester that you get wet and it really seems to keep my girl cool (I carry a bottle of ice water with me and reapply as needed). |
