I really want a Yorkie terrier for christmas, SOMEONE PLEASE HELP.
 
Hello everyone my name is jaz and I live in Buffalo NY but ive been searching the web trying to find a female Yorkie but still no luck. Either someone is trying to pull a scam or either they are located too far also, the prices I've seen are too high for my budget. My husband really wants to buy me a Yorkie for Christmas and I think that would be the most unforgettable gift he could possibly ever get me, but I really need some type of help in finding out where I can actually get a yorkie. Since I live in buffalo NY it seems like no one has any yorkies available but in other states they are absolutely available 100%.

You may need to find one outside of NY and have it flown in inside the cabin - many quality breeders will do this for a reasonable fee.

You could try rescues places the price would be more reasonable and what a gift for that little one two get such a loving home.

Yes and there is one here YT rescue in Mississauga just about a ninety minute drive from Buffalo.

I would let locals rescues know what you are looking for in addition to all of the above. I got our yorkie from a shelter. He was brought in the same day we were volunteering.

If you go to Adopt a Pet.com you can put in the type of dog you are looking for and specify the mile radius you want and you can receive email notifications when a shelter near you receives that type of dog. Thats how I found my two yorkie mix babies. I'm not sure if you can specify the specific breed but I got several notifictions for yorkies when I put in dogs under 25 pounds.

I live about an hour south of Buffalo and I adopted my yorkie off of Petfinder. I drove 5 hours into Ohio to get him :) He was worth every mile!

What is your budget? Have you tried finding an actual reputable breeder that sells yorkie-poos, or morkies? Perhaps a mix of one would work, providing you didn't get one that tried to sell you that "designer" breed bull crap. I know that some people ship out. I Know that locally here in AZ, the owner of the little doggie pack Chewie goes to see always finds her yorkies at the rescue. Every time they've been "actual" yorkies, (not being mean or snobby just saying it to be clear) except this last time, and she looks EXACTLY like one. It was her coat and her bottom teeth that made the vet say, has to have some schnauzer in her- but you wouldn't know looking. I hope that helps. Rescues have so many amazing little guys.
