I need help in finding friends of Kimberly Ann King I am posting this request and information because Kimberly Ann King, who died in Dec of 2009, was a known member of YorkieTalk and she loved and bred Yorkies. She was a dear friend and lived next door to me. I'm hoping that someone on this forum can help locate her sister. Kim's house has been vacant since the time of her passing and her house will be auctioned off next Tuesday - Nov. 24, 2015 Last week, I was talking to Scott Rosen who is involved with the foreclosure / auction. He said that the family / siblings of Kimberly are entitled to some monies from the estate and he wants them to receive the monies. However, he is having a hard time tracking any family / siblings down. I believe that Kim's sister is living in the Milwaukie / Clackamas area of Portland OR. I met her sister before Kim's death. I also attended the memorial service for Kim and attended the gathering at her sister's house after the service. However, I don't remember her name or the exact location of her home. If anyone knows Kim's sister or Kim's friends who would know her sister please contact James at (503) 775-2203 or (503) 422-7986 or email at najin24@comcast.net. Thank you, James A Niece |
This was posted yesterday, November 26,2015. The auction was already held??? |
Info on the auction Hi, The auction has been held. There is a 6 month period of time after the auction where Kim's sister is still eligible to receive the estate funds. Eligibility to receive the funds expires after the 6 month period of time which is May 2016. It is really important that Kim's sister be contacted about this. I am really hoping that a friend of Kim's can be found on this forum and provide the information that will help me to contact Kim's sister. |
I so hope you're able to find someone who can help with this...best of luck. |
I messaged some people after doing a search but I don't know that anyone will know her family members. Has anyone thought to post an ad in the paper where she is thought to live? OR post on Facebook?? |
Seems like my mother once told me that is what banks do...post something in the newspaper, looking for next of kin......how utterly sad this poor soul had no one that is considered "next in line" or "next of kin", that followed up with dispersal of her earthly possessions when she died.......wonder what happened to all her beautiful, adorable little dogs????? |
See if any of these are hers: https://www.facebook.com/search/str/...keywords_users If so, by going through her friends list you may be able to track down family. |

Thank you for responding. Last week, I posted Kim's info on a neighborhood forum ("Next Door"). I'm hoping that sooner or later one of her friends will see that post and respond. This is like fishing....you cast in and hope for a bite. |
Hi, Before Kim's passing she, with the help of friends, found good homes for her Yorkies. |

You might think they would have handled the house at that time.... |
Good point, ladyjane! I have seen families go straight from the cemetery to a lawyer's office, with will in hand, to get all property probated and the estate settled! I hope this is resolved for the family! Death is such a traumatic event for everyone left to resolve loose ends....I feel sorry for family that is left to handle issues.... |
