| Does anyone else think Spectrum 10 smells a little like acetone??? I bought CC Spectrum 10 shampoo/conditioner and I'm really thinking if I want to send it back or not. The shampoo smells so badly like acetone and chemicals... does anyone else think the shampoo has an acetone smell? I didn't use it yet. After Yorkie Splash I'm not really liking this chemical smell.

| I just gave Molly a bath a couple of hour ago using CC Spectrum 10 and it doesn't smell like that. I definitely would not use it until you contact CC.

| What does the shampoo smell like to you? The conditioner doesn't smell like this at all. The shampoo though... really strongly smells like acetone.

| I had to go smell the shampoo and conditioner. To me they don't smell the same. The conditioner is a gentler smell. The shampoo is a stronger, cleaner smell but not like what you are describing.

| Okay, I have just sent them an email. My bottle might just be defective. Do you like this shampoo/conditioner, by the way? I haven't used it yet. I bought the Precious Drop spray as well and that smells really strong like lavendar, but it's definitely a better scent than acetone

| I like CC Spectrum shampoo and conditioner but may try the day to day instead of Spectrum. I have a cotton coat and a silky coat and use CC for both. I like CC the best of anything I have used so far and I have gone through quite a few different brands of shampoo and conditioner in 5 years. The hardness or softness of your water has a lot to do with how shampoo/conditioner acts on a dog's coat too. The acetone smell is strange.

| I also have the Precious Drops and use it sparingly. I has a nice scent but if you use too much it makes the hair greasy looking.

| I ordered the Spectrum for the same reason, it was supposed to be for Yorkies. The Day to Day I think is a little gentler shampoo. Mine two don't get very dirty because they are pad trained and don't go outside only for walks. I hope you get an answer on the acetone smell. To me acetone is kind of like a dry cleaning smell, is that what you smell?

| Do you think it helps with preventing matts/tangles?

| I have a cotton coat and a silky coat. I only use Precious Drops on my silky coat but she doesn't have a problem with matts or tangles. I bought it to possibly help with the dry skin. I think it helps some but probably won't order it again.

| I haven't heard back from them yet. Hopefully by tomorrow and then I'll post what they tell me.
