McClellend...wise move on your part...Elmwood would be the cheapest place, call and ask to speak to Judy, you did NOT speak to Judy when you called, she may have been out. They are the cheapest but they are not the best. Nickel City is too new and they are housed in a former funeral home and I haven't heard a lot of great things.


The best place you can go in that area doesn't exist. The BEST place is Orchard Park, they have an everything there. They are a bit more expensive for some things and cheaper for others, in the long run your pup is getting the best care take a look at their site and I can say without a doubt they are top of the line.

I've only used McClelland as a vet until recently. Honey "2" didn't come from the same breeder. That breeder offered half my money back or pick of next litter and that's as good as it got she also took the puppy back don't know how she ended up. She changed her number after 2 months

I'm willing to drive to orchard park it's only about 20 mins away. I used to drive there for work so it's not an issue.

You really need to hook up with Lynzy. She's right in your area and has a lot of experience with the vets in your area. I'm actually very surprised that the breeder took back Honey #1 let alone offered even a partial refund. Who is this breeder anyway. It's always good to let others know when things like LS happen. Very sad that you don't know what happened to her.

Exactly, I'm talking about in the area the vets that you mentioned. The West Side...not one of em is worth it.

Please let me know as I am quite active in the area regarding this and I would like to know more about this breeder. OMG I'm afraid you've been hoodwinked........uggghhhhhh

Her name is judy mills she was in my neighborhood she wasn't an experienced breeder and I wasn't an experienced buyer ( at all). Just so excited for a pup. Her pups mated by "accident" She took The puppy back because we were friends. I truely believe she didn't mean for it to happen (but her pups should have been fixed) She moved shortly after and I'm not sure what happened to her or the other pups

Thanks for all the info. I definitely felt like I got hoodwinked but now I got a healthy beautiful pup who is more than what I could have asked for
