Sophie Kates New Foster Sister

For Sophie Kates 5th Birthday we added a Foster member to our family. Introducing Pearl, a 9 year old Poodle who I am fostering from Atlanta Pet Rescue.

Pearl has not had much luck at finding a forever home, she is only has 4 teeth and was tested Heartworm postive. She has been treated for Heartworm and had all her dentals. Now I just need to get her fat and pretty (oh an potty trained).

She is a sweet girl and we love her.

They are doing really well together, Pearl is really tired and Sophie Kate is just kind of checking her out.

Awwww....she looks so sweet. We have an 11 yr. old toy poodle, Prissy, who is a princess. We have had her since she was 8 weeks old. Poodles are just wonderful....so loyal and intelligent. I hope she finds her forever home soon.

She will find a home and until then she can hang out here with me and Sophie Kate. This morning I came upstairs to see two butts, a Yorkie and a Poodle with their faces buried in the toy box - had to find that perfect one you know.

She is so pretty. I grew up with poodles. They are as crazy as Yorkies lol. When we were little frosty was trained so well, that he would lay in our carriages with doll clothes on and a blanket. He was an amazing dog for 3 little girls lol

She is smart, she is getting the hang of things already and is just chillin out on a dog bed next to my desk (I need to add that to her profile, perfect for someone who works from home or a retiree).

We are working out the pecking order here, Sophie Kate is being a little bossy about the water bowl.
