***Terrier Mix Survives Nearly A Month In Impounded Car!!!!!*** Oh, read this. They said they little dog is okay!! Poor little thing - can you imagine??? Just look at that face! Puppy Survives for a Month in Impounded Car | i Love Dogs |
Holy Crap! How sad for that puppy! Sooo glad he's ok! |
How did the person impounding the car not notice him in there thats just not right |
Something is really wrong here. Why didn't the owner scream and scream about that dog being in that car. You know there are enough police that love dogs that would get that car checked out. Surely it whined at times when people were near? This is awful. That little thing - how did it get water? |
Oh that breaks my heart, maybe the law should change on this and all impounded cars should be opened and checked. I know an animal can go long without food, but going a whole month without water just seems impossible, and if it’s only 12 weeks now, it was only 8 weeks when it was trapped. I think I’d like to know more about this and the owner of the car should be charged with animal cruelty. |
Jeanie- I agree, Kia is a lucky little girl to have lasted 3 weeks in that vehicle! I posted a video on my FB page of her with the shelter worker who took care of her initially & you can see she's quite dehydrated :( The good news is they say she's had many inquiries for adoption once she's ready for that. |
Whaaat 3 weeks?! Miraculous poor puppy! |
so sad:( poor little thing! |
I cannot imagine the thirst and hunger and loneliness - freezing cold - that little puppy endured. Nancy is right - we need some laws to require a thorough search of these cars and charge the owner and the impound yard owner if any dog or cat is ever found there once a law is in place. And they should charge that car-owner now unless there is some way that dog could have gotten in there on his own through some hole made for smuggling drugs or rusted hole in the hull - and then it's still his fault if he knew of the opening. I didn't get that they even questioned the car owner to see what he said. Of course he would say it wasn't his dog and he never saw it before but still, seems like they'd try. That poor little thing - it must have gotten so cold during all the cold weather!!! Makes me sick to think of his suffering. |
I am totally amazed at that Dog's resilience ! I think my guys are pretty tough, but I'm not sure they could stand up to those conditions. I would have also like to have known what punitive action was taken against the owner of the Suburban, for leaving that Dog in it. |
How totally amazing! Praying the baby goes to a loving family :hands: |
I really hope the owner is held accountable!! This just makes me burning mad!! What is wrong with people?? They leave skin and fur babies in vehicles to die. Just thinking about how scared he must have been....I hope he ends up in the best home!! |
What a sweet little face....people just piss me off to no end!!! Seriously why wasn't the owner screaming blue murder about his/her pup in the freaking car?! It truly is miraculous that the pup survived three weeks in the cold....I truly hope she goes to a home where she will be loved and cherished, as she deserves. |
